1. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for selection of teaching, non-teaching and
Adm staff as per details mentioned below for APS Dhar Road and APS Udhampur on LSB Contractual basis
through Local Selection Board (Contractual) Academic Session 2023-24. Interview scheduled to be
conducted tentatively on 09 Mar 2023 and subsequent days at Army Public School Dhar Road. Candidates
must meet CBSE & AWES eligibility norms.

IT Supervisor
(a) BCA/MCA/BE/B.Tech Graduation in Computer Science (IT)

(b) Should have Adcance Diploma or Diploma in Computing &

Hardware with knowledge in at least two of the following (Hands on
experience should be given due weightage):-

(i) Networking and LAN Administration

(ii) Operating Systems.
(iii) RDBMS with programming. Proficiency in one of the language.

Librarian / Assistant Essential M Lib/ B. Lib. Science
Librarian Or
Graduate with diploma in Library Science from a
recognized institute and computer literate with minimum
three years experience. For Assistant Librarian same QR but
may have lesser/no experience. Age below 40 years for
civilian and 55 years for ESM.
Head Clerk Essential (i) Preferably an Ex-Serviceman of Clerk (SD)
category upto the age of 55 years.

(ii) 5-10 years experience in Office Management,

account handling as Head Clerk with high proficiency in
staff duties and drafting experience.
(iii) Computer Savvy-MS Office, Power Point etc.
(iv) Educational Qualification – Minimum Graduate in
case of civilian.
(v) Should not have any disciplinary case against him
in the entire service.
(vi) Should be SHAPE – I or SHAPE – II (Less ‘S’
factor).
Supervisor Administration Essential (i) Should be retired JCO/ Hony rank
having administrative experience.
(ii) Should have basic knowledge of :-
(aa) Handling of Master ledger of stores.
(ab) Stores, Eqpt Maintenance and
Man management.
(ac) Should not have left services on
disciplinary/dismissal grounds.
(ad) Should be a security course qualified.
(ae) Should be computer savvy.
(af) Should be SHAPE-I or SHAPE-II (less S
factor).
UDC Essential (i) B.Com or fifteen years of service as a clerk (for Ex-
Servicemen). Computer literate (MS Office, Tally etc).
(ii) Computer Savy (12000 key depression per hour).
Knowledge of relevant software applications used by
schools.
(iii) 5 years experience as a clerk Or an accounts clerk in
a reputed organization, preferably a school.

Paramedics Essential 10+2 and diploma in nursing with minimum five years of
experience. A female Paramedic should be given
preference.

Receptionist & LDC Essential (a) Graduate or ten years of service as a clerk (for Ex-
Servicemen). Computer literate.
(b) Knowledge of Computer MS Office (Speed 12000 key
depression per hour.)
(c) Basic knowledge of Accounting.
(d) Good communication skills.

Accountant Essential Age as on 01 Apr 2023 Below 45 years for fresh candidates
and upto 55 years for Ex- Serviceman.
(i) B.Com or fifteen years of service as a clerk (for Ex-
Servicemen). Computer literate (MS Office, Tally etc).
(ii) Computer Savy (12000 key depression per hour).
Knowledge of relevant software applications used by
schools.
(iii) 5 years experience as a clerk Or an accounts clerk in
a reputed organization, preferably a school.

4. Evaluation of Teaching Skills The Evaluation of Teaching Skills will be done in three parts
alongwith the interview:-

(a) Part I Teaching practice where the candidate will be asked to conduct a class.

(b) Part II This is applicable only to language teachers TGTs. A written test of
30 marks (Two question of 15 marks each essay writing and comprehension) will be conducted to
assess the written expression of the candidate.

(c) Part III A computer proficiency written test will be conducted for all categories
(except PET, Dance Teacher and Paramedics).

5. Application Forms. Desirous & eligible candidates to apply on Application form given on
school website along with self-attested copies of certificates and processing fee of Rs 100/- through
Nationalized Bank Demand Draft in favour of Army Public School Dhar Road payable at
Udhampur. Applications should reach to the Army Public School, Dhar Road, PO-Sattani, Pin-
182101 on or before 01 Mar 2023 (Timing – 3:00 PM). No application through online mode will be
accepted. This establishment will not be responsible for any postal delay.

6. Candidates to note that only one application for one post will be accepted. One application form
for two or more posts will not be accepted.

7. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview telephonically / by e-mail.
