Introduction
People are currently dealing with numerous environmental challenges such as air
pollution, soil erosion, climate change, and many others. This is due to the absence of
preservation of the planet's oxygen resources, which include plants and trees. Trees are
Forest Resource Assessment estimates from 2015, around 80,000 to 160,00 trees are cut
down each day around the world, with a large portion being used in the paper sector.
environmental damage.
There are research studies that use many types of plants to manufacture paper.
According to Boko et al. (1997), leaves from the teak tree Tectona Grandis are used to
bundle several food products in West Africa. Banana, Musa sinensis, and leaves are
used to package delicacies such as 'akassa' (a fermented maize dough). There has also
been research demonstrating how banana bark fibers can be utilized to manufacture
paper. Banana and other plant fibers are processed into pulp for paper production. This
is a constructive use of waste fibers for earning cash and developing a local supply of

Banana paper is typically created from the plentiful waste of banana trees, such as
leaves and tree trunks. It helps prevent overwhelming pollution of the eco-rivers
system's and forests by recycling this by-product fiber into paper. Banana paper has two
purposes: it refers to paper manufactured from the bark of the banana plant, which is
mostly used for artistic purposes, or it refers to paper made from banana fiber, which is
obtained by an industrialized process from the stem and unusable fruits. This paper can
Because bananas are a common product in our country and are abundant in the
market at all times of the year (Dela Cruz Jr. et al 2008), the researchers decided to
undertake a study to find a solution to the environmental problem. The study's objective
is to look into the efficiency of banana peels as an alternative writing paper. Instead of
banana tree trunks or banana leaves, the researchers will use the peels of bananas. This
wastes and reducing potential waste materials from paper production, it may also aid in
Alternative Hypothesis
Ho: Utilizing the banana peel does not correlate with the other way of making a paper.
H1: Increasing the utilizing of banana peel leads to decreased some waste.

For the students- Our study shows that utilizing banana peels as writing paper can
benefit students. The students will learn how to produce a paper from a banana peel
For the parents- Parents can recycle the banana peels they purchased and turn them
into paper for their children to use in school, which will help them save money on the
For our environment- Our study will help in reducing the number of trees cut down
each year to produce paper. Additionally, recycle banana peel by turning it into paper.
For our economy- It will be simpler and better for the economy if the ones that are no
longer needed or are rotting are the ones that can be used to make our product. This will
help to lessen local rotting because it is more cost-effective to use banana peels instead
of other materials to make paper because they are rotting and can be recycled.
Numerous trees are being cut down only to produce paper; therefore, the researchers
plan on producing paper from banana peels instead. The study’s goal is to help the
ecosystem, the planet, and its surroundings. The lack of trees has made many calamities
worse, particularly in cases of landslides and floods, which is why the researchers

The banana peel serves as an alternative to cutting down trees since it isn’t required to
be cut; it can easily be peeled and it is not even necessary for people to eat it. Therefore,
it will benefit the community and the environment because the trash will be lessened; it
can also reduce the cutting of trees and it can be recycled. In order to gather data for the

This study only focuses on how to make paper from banana peels in ways that
benefit the environment while also protecting mother earth, therefore it is limited in
what banana peels can actually do for an alternative paper without requiring the
removal of trees. In order to help the few who seek a cheap price for a paper, the
Methods
The study will seek to learn how banana peels can reduce air pollution, climate
change, and soil erosion, which leads to the destruction of animal habitats and the
cutting of trees in order to have a better environment on the DYCI main campus. The
research will also seek to identify a method to improve the impact of banana peels in
order to contain global climate change. The production process of bananas includes

After it has dried, we will need to remove some mold and it is now ready to use.
