DIGITAL PAINTING
Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques (such
as watercolor, oils, and others) are applied by means of a computer, a digitizing
tablet and stylus, and software.

In digital painting, the artist uses painting techniques to create the image directly on
the computer.
As a method of creating an art object, it changes traditional painting mediums such
as acrylic paint, oil, ink, watercolor, and others and applies the color to traditional
carries such as woven canvas cloth, paper, polyester, and others by means of
computer software or printers. As a technique, it refers to computer graphics
software programs that uses a computer-generated canvas and painting box of
brushes, colors, and other supplies. The virtual box contains, any instruments that do
not exist outside the computer, and which gives a digital artwork that is made the
traditional way.
Digital coloring

There are many sites that allow one to color a design digitally. And these are suitable
for young kids like you. If the result is pleasing, then print it.

Digital Drawing and paining

After digital coloring. The next stage is digital and painting. It can be difficult to
control the mouse for this kind of drawing. Some sites will let you create a design
using drag and drop techniques while using the muse. This digital drawing is very
simple. It allows you splash colorful and different shapes, lines, and other design.

GRAPHIC DESIGNING

Graphic designing is concerned with combining words and pictures to

communicate visually.
Graphic designing is both a creative and a technical field that requires in-depth
learning and information on design principles, fonts, photographs, and
computer software.

Various programs used in modern graphic designing include;

• Adobe Photoshop for the design of poster and photo manipulation
• InDesign for layout purposes.
POSTER
• It is a visual presentation of information.
• It should be understandable to the viewer without verbal comment. People
might look at it while they are talking to another delegate, or while they are
in the toilet.
These are great tools to use to present information, facts, and data. They are
attractive because of the combinations of signs, images, charts, and texts.
Contents of the Poster
• Make sure that the text, name, and communication lines are prominent
and eye-catching.
• Remember to include contact details.
• Provide clear flow or information from, the beginning to the end.
• Focus on your major findings. Try not to cover too much so get to point.
• If needed, use graphs, tables, diagrams, and images. Use boxes to
separate and emphasize specific points.
• Always follow the guidelines. You should be a specific about what you are
going to present.
DESIGN IDEAS
• Use most of the space at your disposal, but not all because, space is an
important part of the layout, and with good use. it can make a poster
elegant and arresting.
• Use color carefully. The use of a few colors is more striking than a 'rainbow
approach. Think about why you are using color; it is used for and
differentiation. Avoid color combinations that clash (Example: on blue) or
cause problems for people with color blindness (Example: and green in
proximity).
• Use white or soft colors such as pastel shades for the background,
• Make sure that the flow of information is clear in the layout. If you have use
arrows to indicate the flow, the content could probably be arranged
better,
• Label diagrams or drawings clearly and provide references to them in the
text where necessary,
• Again, follow the conference guidelines, which may be quite specific
about paper sizes, font sizes, and others.
• Make sure that the title text is readable from 6 meters away, at least 48-
point text. (Note that if you are creating your poster in AA format, to be
blown up to Al format later, the final printed font size will be approximately
three times the size that you are working with.)

Page |5
• Create a body text that is readable from 2 meters away, at least 24-poi
text.
• Choose a clear font with large inner space (i.e. the space inside t loops of
letters such as so 'o’, ‘d’, ‘p’ ,). Good examples are Arial, Verdana,
Georgia, or Helvetica.
• Use legible font styles.
• Keep the word count as low as possible.
