Today you need to guess if this is a sentence, a phrase or a paragraph.


1. Mary enjoys cooking.
2. She likes bananas.
3. They speak at work.
4. The train does not leave at 12:00 am
5. Does she drink milk?

Those words are related to our topic this morning.

Today, we will discuss about sentence.

3.Discussion

Sentence is a group of word which make complete sense.


*It has a full stop (.), a question mark (?), or an exclamation mark (!)
*Every sentence begins with a capital letter and ends with punctuation.

Example:
1. Robert was a good king.
2. He had a great army.
3. Emma is writing a letter.
4. We wake up early in the morning.
5. The teacher teaches in the classroom.

Group yourselves into four (4). I will present a picture and you are going to create a sentence out of the pictures I presented. Write your
answer in a one whole sheet of paper.

Based on our discussion, what is the meaning of a sentence?

Group yourselves into 4 groups. There are 4 stations in every corner of the room. Each group will occupy each station and answer the given
questions. I will clap 3 times and that’s the hint for you to transfer to other station. There are four stations, so there will be 4 transfers.
