Yet it can violate privacy when using sound sensor for reat-time noise sensing, which is why H/W Switch is applied.

AUDIO Troubleshooting:

• No TV Sound
 Menu/Audio/Speaker Settings/set to TV Speaker

• Noisy/Distorted TV Audio • No HDMI Audio


 Customer Menu/Support/ SOUND TEST  Source / HDMI Cable & One Connect
 Swap with other HDMI Inputs/Sources
 If SOUND TEST FAILS (Missing/Noisy Audio)  Perform EDID Write in Factory Mode
 Speakers (compare resistance/quality)  (Can restore missing HDMI Audio).
 Main Board /Connector/Cable  Bulletins and Latest firmware on TV
 With external Audio Generator (device or App) • If not restored replace One Connect
• Compare audio level out to speakers with multi meter. • Check Audio Format PCM/Dolby based on external Receiver
 Replace defective Speakers or Main Board or Cable
• ARC Issues
 IF SOUND TEST OK  HDMI Cable is input to the ARC Designated HDMI port
 Audio Source & External Cables  ARC (HDMI Control) is enabled on the external Receiver.

 Wired & Wireless MAC Address in Customer Support Menu.


 No Wired MAC Address: Replace Main Board  Instruct the customer the TV has proper connection to
 No Wireless MAC Address: the router and is likely OK.
 Module cabling & voltages from Main Board.
 If operating voltages are OK but signal missing  Check other devices using network are OK. If they test
Replace WiFi Module (WiFi/Bluetooth Module) OK this does not mean the TV should be working.
 Proper security passcode
 Check Wi-Fi signal strength at TV (use WiFi Analyzer or similar App)  Try another source (Hotspot) to test/show TV Network
 Try another source (Hot spot or Test Router) operation.
 Check related Bulletins
 Check Factory Mode / SVC / Info/ WiFi Error Count

Use external Router and Lan Cable for Test Wired LAN Operation Test
(In this case, Internet access is not in use.)

2. Menu -> Network -> Network Settings
External Router and Lan Cable -> Network Type -> Wired -> Connect
3. Check the connection from TV to Router
(Not from Router to Internet X)
If connection to Router is confirmed,
Then TV is OK. Tell customer that check
the connection between Lan Cable and Router.

1. Carefully position the TV so that the screen is facing downwards.
Make sure to place the TV upon a soft cushion
or any material that will prevent damage to the screen.
2. Remove stand clean back.
※ As product is heavy, make sure that 2 people hold this.
※ Hoist product with Panel and Body part together.

3. Remove 4 screws at the checked points on the pics, and 4. Remove holder cover just like pics.
remove stand. As stand is heavy, make sure that one hand hold
the stand while the other remove screw. Then take the stand out of
TV with two hands.
5. Remove screws at marked points. 6. Put hand into the circular part on the rear cover and
gently lift it upward.

7. Disconnect BT/WIFI module from upper left, then remove


module.
8. Disconnect cables from Main board. 9. Remove 4 screws at marked points and
(Upper left, clockwise FFCx1, Encoder/SW Cable, then lift main board out of Body.
SW Cable, Power Cable, Function, SPK, BT/WiFi)

10. By removing 4 screws at marked points, take the speaker 11. By removing 5 screws at marked points, take the SMPS
out. out in the pic.

15. By releasing the locking at the marked points, dispart the


middle and top.
16. After removing screw at marked point, dispark Power key from middle.

17. Disassembly Complete
