    1. Some people think that success is the best measure for intelligence, while other people think
    that intelligence can be measured in other ways. What is your opinion?
    2. The Internet has dramatically altered our lives over the past few decades. Although
    some of these changes have been negative, the overall effect of this technology has
    been positive. What are your opinions on this?
    3. In many countries there has been an increase in social problems involving teenagers in
    recent years. Many people believe that this is due to modern lifestyles because parents
    spend more and more time at work and have less time to supervise their children. To what
    extent do you believe this is true?

    1. Some people think that personal happiness is directly related to economic success. Others
    argue that happiness depends on different factors. Discuss both views and give your

    1.  Problems/Effects and Solutions: In the developed world, average life expectancy is


    increasing. What problems will this cause for individuals and society? Suggest
    some measures that could be taken to reduce the impact of aging populations.
    2. Causes and Effects: In many parts of the world today there is a profitable market for
    products which lighten or whiten people’s skin. Outline the reasons for using such products
    and discuss what effects they have in terms of health and society.
    3. Causes and Solutions: Crime rate in teenagers has increased dramatically in many
    countries in recent years. Give some possible reasons for this increase and
    suggest solutions to overcome youth crimes.

    1. Most people agree that money cannot be happiness. Why is happiness so difficult to define?
    How can people achieve happiness?
    2. There are many different types of music in the world today. Why do we need music? Is the
    traditional music of a country more important than the international music that is heard
