And now, requesting all the 7 candles to be ready, for we are about to offer
Birthday Candles for our Birthday Celebrant and of course I want everybody to
prepare a short Birthday wish or message for Sophia. But before we proceed to our
offerings of 7 candles, let me first share to you a short trivia about having 7 candles
offering on the 7th birthday.
“Candle helps to send signals and prayers to the God so that the wishes could
be answered more effectively. The other belief was when a person makes a wish
while blowing out the candle a signal or message would be received by the God and
the prayers would be answered. Blowing out the candles symbolizes the completion
of the years”.
So that is why we blow a candle on our Birthdays. Again, as I call the names for
the 7 candles, I want you to come over beside Sophia, with a lighted candle and
have a short message/wish for her.

“Balloons may burst or even fly, this time the balloon that the well-wisher would give,
will symbolize as bad or undesirable attitudes that we do not want the celebrant to
carry on her new world of existence but let them out by bursting and even fly and go
away from her”.
So it means, each balloon that you’ll offer to the Birthday celebrant should be
burst using a pin right after you make a wish to her, to take all bad things away on
her years of existence. Again, as I call the name of the 7 Balloons, I want you to

occasion which we call it rituals of turning 7?
Flowers often symbolize degrees of love and affection, but they can also send a
variety of messages. Messages of forgiveness, purity, modesty, hope, beauty and
love. The 7 roses signify 7 very special gentlemen in the life of Sophia, like her
relatives, brother, ninongs and of course we can never forget the father for he is
always the first or last dance.
To begin with, let us call all the gents to gather on side for the smooth flow of the
program. As your name is called, it is your chance to offer a flower and to dance with
Sophia. So the first dance goes to her escort, Mr. Bryce Matthew Gozun (brother of
Sophia).
