    GENERAL NOTES & SPECIFICATIONS

    NATIONAL BUILDING CODE OF THE PHILIPPINES (NBCP)


    GENERAL:
    1.1 GENERAL NOTES AND TYPICAL STRUCTURAL DETAILS SHALL APPLY TO
    ALL DRAWINGS UNLESS OTHERWISE SHOWN OR NOTED. MATERIALS:
    1.2 BUILDING OR STRUCTURES AND ALL PARTS THEREOF AS WELL AS ALL 1. CONCRETE
    FACILITIES FOUND THEREIN SHALL BE MAINTAINED IN SAFE, SANITARY UNLESS INDICATED OTHERWISE ON PLANS, THE CONCRETE CLASS
    AND GOOD WORKING CONDITIONS. AND STRENGTH SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS:
    1.3 DO NOT SCALE DRAWINGS AND CALLED-OUT DIMENSIONS. INDICATED STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS CLASS
    DIMENSIONS AND STANDARD CODE REQUIREMENTS SHALL GOVERN SLAB ON GRADE "A"
    OVER UNSCALED DRAWINGS. BEAMS, FOOTINGS & COLUMNS "AA"
    1.4 ALL BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES AS WELL AS ACCESSORY FACILITIES OTHER STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS "A"
    THERETO SHALL CONFORM IN ALL RESPECTS TO THE PRINCIPLES OF
    2. REINFORCING STEEL
    CONSTRUCTION AND MUST BE SUITED TO THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH
    a. ALL REINFORCING STEEL SHALL BE DEFORMED BARS UNLESS
    THEY ARE DESIGNED. OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN DRAWINGS.
