Problem: To assess the interest of the subject by using comprehensive interest schedule by
Sanjya Vohra.

Materials: 1. Comprehensive interest Schedule Male/Female Form

               2. Norms

               3. Writing Materials

Plan: To administer Comprehensive Interest schedule and to determine the interest of the
subject on 8 different areas of interest.

Procedure: Seat the subject comfortably. The rest can be administered individually or in a
group. The instructions are given to the subject. The experimenter should see that the subject
does not skip anything and give his preference for each pair of occupation. There is no time
limit, but the subject should work rapidly as first impression produces a true picture of his
likes and dislikes.

Instructions: “In this schedule you are asked to express your preferences for different
occupations. These occupations are given in pairs and you are asked to check them to indicate
your preferences. You just have to mark your responses in each box considering both the
occupations irrespective of the income or status involved in it. You have to put a circle
around the corresponding serial number of the occupations in each box. If you prefer both
pairs of the occupations, put circle around both the serial numbers. If you prefer only one in
the pair put a circle only to that occupation in the pair and leave the other one unmarked. In
case if you do not prefer both the occupations of the pair, put a cross mark on both boxes.
You should not leave any box unmarked. Majority of the people finish this schedule in 10
minutes time. So try to work as fast as possible”.

With these instructions the test is administered and the responses are collected for scoring and
analysis.
