COMPETENCY:
Illustrating Triangle Congruence
I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson students should be able to:
1. Identify the corresponding parts of congruent triangles;
2. Name congruent triangles;
3. Find the measure of corresponding parts of congruent triangles; and
4. Relate triangle congruence to real life situations.
C. Analysis
The following questions will be asked:
1. Did you enjoy the activity?
2. What have you observed in our activity?
3. Based on our activity, what do you think is our topic for today?
D. Abstraction
What did you understand about the corresponding parts of the triangle.?
Is it difficult to identify the corresponding parts of congruent triangles? Why?
Name the congruent triangles having the corresponding parts
What difficulty did you encounter as you go through the lesson? What will you do
to better understand the lesson on your own?
E. Application
What do you think is the importance or relevance of our topic in our day-to-day
living?
Present a real-life application of the topic.
F. Evaluation
Activity 1: Giving It All! Directions: Give what is being asked in each problem.
1. Given that ∆FUN ≅ ∆DAY. List down all corresponding parts.
