2. Readers benefit from Wikipedia since it serves as an encyclopedia, a complete written
collection of information on all fields of knowledge. Twitter allows us to interact with
others and express our thoughts or ideas with a large audience, but YouTube is for
entertainment and allows us to submit any type of video, share it, and view it without
restriction. Facebook helps us to contact with and make friends with those who live far
away. We can use Google Drive to store files, synchronize them with other devices, and
share them. Google Scholar makes it simple to find scholarly publications and literature.
Finally, Photoshop's various editing features enable us to tweak photos or even create
images.
3. I find Facebook to be really valuable because it allows me to connect with a large
spectrum of people. You can use Facebook to exchange news and other information, as
well as to be entertained. Despite the fact that not all authors or sources of information
on Facebook are real or trustworthy, it is nevertheless widely used nowadays. It is also
highly useful in terms of marketing in the commercial world. You can market and
advertise your goods on Facebook, which is quite effective because it reaches a large
number of people. This will be extremely beneficial to the items or services you provide.

WHAT’S MORE
Activity 2.3
1. I feel that a person is media and information literate if he or she can assess the
trustworthiness and accuracy of various sources. Also, if that person thinks critically. If
he or she is capable of evaluating facts based on evidence. If he or she can also take a
step back and assess the veracity of the information they share on social media.
2. Critical thinking is linked to media and information literacy since it allows us to
determine whether or not the information we obtained from various media types is
accurate. We can effectively use knowledge to build or form an opinion or perspective
on a certain topic or situation. It entails a thorough knowledge, reasoning, and analyzing
of facts in order to arrive at evidence-based judgments.
3. Because I am not a critical thinker, I do not consider myself to be media and
information savvy. I still have difficulties separating fact from fiction, or I'm easily misled
by other fake news or deceptive information authors. As a result, I once shared a phony
news story on my social media account, which I later deleted after realizing it was false.
I lack the ability to discern information out of all the characteristics of a media and
information literate individual.
4. When it comes to research, I can now tell what is appropriate for acquiring information
thanks to a plethora of search engines. I'm posting responsibly on my social media
profiles. Send messages using messenger to communicate with others. Watching
YouTube videos and acquiring knowledge from them. Also, staying informed on what
our government is doing and how we can solve problems in our country. I also use my
social media profiles to express myself responsibly.
Activity 2.5
1. In my own words, I can define media and information literacy as a means for people to
express themselves freely We can react or share our ideas to media, and information
literacy encourages critical thinking, assessing, organizing, and analyzing information
from all forms of media in order to draw conclusions or solve problems. Media and
information literacy have an impact on our daily lives. Everyone may comprehend the
function and usage of media and information with the help of Media and Information
Literacy.
2. Media literacy, information literacy, and technology literacy are important lifelong skills
because this talent can help us be successful in life, particularly in today's environment,
because it strengthens our critical thinking skills and allows us to distinguish between
good and evil. We can accurately exchange information if we have these talents. In such
situations or with such information, our minds can react swiftly. When information is
required, our minds can simply detect it. With the aid of technical instruments, it also
enables us to operate independently, appropriately, and effectively. These abilities are
extremely useful in today's modern society, especially if you aspire to be a professional
one day.
