Summer Internship Project

State Bank of India INTERNSHIP DURATION: 2 months

PROJECT TITLE: A Comparative Study on Customer Perception and Customer Satisfaction towards personal
Loan of SBI and other banks and to study the recovery process of NPA.

RESEARCH ANALYSIS:
 Approximately 43% of personal loan product users said that the service of SBI in personal loan product is
excellent.
 From this project it is found that SBI personal loans are most preferred by the customers at Bhubaneswar,
there is a great opportunity to further improve its positioning among all Banks
 Many of these customers are satisfied with the low interest rate and longer repayment period of the loan
product.
SUGGESTIONS:
 Customer awareness program is required so that more people should be attracted towards SBI.
 SBI must take some steps so that customers can get their loan on time. Verification agent should be
employed for fast TAT.
 Physical verification rather than phone verification.
 SBI should focus more on retaining existing customers.
