Functional test of 100% total quantity (randomly selected) will be carried at lE&l facilities.
However. above percentage (%) may be varied depending on test result and further test
may be carried as deemed necessary by Chief lnspector (Cl). Functional test will be
carried out at the place selected by ITD Dte with coord of User Dte. ln this purpose all
requirement will be set by ITD Dte with Coord of user Dte. All the technical parameters as

Packinq & Markinq.

a. As per international standard trade packing and marking. The stores are to be securely
packed with sea worthy packing for safe transit by Air/Sea/Rallwayl Road. The packing will
be done by the supplier so that the stores will not be affected by sea water, rain and damp
weather during transportation. Preservative material (anti saline/anti rust) such as wax,
grease etc as required must be coated on the surface of the equipmenUitems (as
applicable). Marking must be done clearly in English Language in each container/packages
for easy identification of the stores. Container/boxes must be strong enough to bear or
withstand the load of contained materials during transportation.

of the container,

b. After arrival at Chittagong port, Army Embarkation unit, Chittagong and local agent will
clear the item (cost involved for clearing & fonrrarding will be borne by the local agent in
case of CPT/CFR Chittagong contract). For any major damage/missing, insurance claim
will be made Embarkation uniVConsiqnee, Dhaka Cantonment
24. Transit accounting card (TAC)/identification card comprising part number and
nomenclature of stores along with supply of spare parts must be provided in English
lanquaqe.
lnspection & testinq Facilities.
a The supplier/local agent shall pay all costs connected with the inspection (visual and
functional iest) and will provide without extra charge, all material, tools, instruments,
transpori, labour & assistance etc of every kind which the inspector may consider
necessary for the inspection. Supplier & local agent shall also provide and deliver free of
charge at such place as the inspector may direct, such materials as he may required for
test. Cost of any laboratory tests shall be borne by the supplier/ local agent as per terms of
clause 12(a) and 12(b) of DP-35.

b Supplier will provide necessary facilities (lncl fuel, Engine oil, Grease etc) required for
technical tesVload test of the equipment free of cost durinq post-shipment inspection.
26 Technical specification and all terms and conditions with tender from must be filled up by
the local agent, principal & manufacturer (as per guide lineiinstruction against each annex)
and must be submitted with the offer.
27 No deviation from ihe contracted speclfication after signing the contract will be acceptable
durinq pre-shipment inspection and post shipment inspection.
ZO Deviation from the above mentioned terms & conditions and any conditional offer will not
be accepted durinq technical vetting.
29 Any defecUdamage/pilferage or discrepancies arise during transportation will be
repaired/fulfilled bv the supplier/local aqent.
30 Supplier to give undertaking that they would provide parts changes list for the main
EquipmenVitems in question on routine basis till the equipment will remain in use in
Bangladesh Army. Supplier must also intimate well in advance if further production of the
item is discontinued.
