Procedure:
1. Draw the wiring layout on the work board using chalk.
2. Cut the PVC conduit as per the given measurements.
3. Fix the conduit and conduit accessories with the help of saddles and
screws.
4. Pull/lay the wires through the conduit (as per the ckt diagram) and cut
the wires by leaving enough length from the ends of the conduits for end
connections.
5. Fix the Round block, Ceiling Rose, Switch box, Regulator, Fuse unit box
and Neutral link at the specified points.
6. Remove insulation (10mm approx.) at each wire ends for terminal
connections.
7. Connect the wire ends to Ceiling Rose, Switch, Regulator, Fuse unit,
Neutral Link etc. as per the ckt diagram (do not over tight the screws)
8. Assemble fan:
▪ Fix the fan blades on the fan and connect down rod.
▪ Put the bottom/top canopies along the down rod.
▪ Draw flexible wires through down rod properly.
▪ Hang it on the ceiling using ceiling hooks provided.
9. Connect ceiling rose supply and fan terminal block using flexible wires
laid through down rod properly.
10. Verify the connections and connect the circuit to supply mains.
11. Turn-On the input supply and satisfy the given conditions.
* Once the conditions are satisfied, Turn-Off the Main supply, remove the fan and finally
disassemble the whole circuit from work board.
.
Result:

The circuit for a fan controlled by a switch and a regulator is designed,

estimated and wired up as per given layout by using PVC conduit system of
wiring and tested okay.
