Sorell

Race: Shadow Dragon (Mature Adult)


Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Favored Weapon: Ambush/Arcane Magic

Unlike most Shadow Dragons, Sorell has incorporated herself into the society of
Isolus using her shape shifting ability; she has proven to be a very proficient assassin
using her illusion magic and her combat prowess even in her non-dragon form. This
has not always been a case, there was a time when Sorell was one amongst the
shadow dragons of Faerun however that time is now a distant memory as she was
exiled from her clan and forced to leave Faerun due to having different ideals
compared to her bretheren. As a Shadow Dragon, Sorell is a sly and devious creature,
with ties to the Plane of Shadow. Sorell has translucent scales and a dark body, giving
her an indistinct appearance; from a distance, she may seem to be nothing but a
foreboding mass of shadows. In her favored human form, she is a slender dark haired
woman whose Charisma translates to an otherworldly beauty. Another form she often
takes is a demonic Kelvezu which heightens her abilities as a Rogue.

Dragon Form

Breath Weapon (Su): A Shadow Dragon’s breath weapon is a cone of billowing,


smoky shadows with an energy drain effect. Creatures within the cone gain 4 negative
levels; the saving throw to remove the negative level is 26. A successful Reflex save
(against the same DC) reduces the number of negative levels by half (round down).

Shadow Blend (Su): In any condition of illumination other than full daylight, a
Shadow Dragon can disappear into the shadows, giving it total concealment. Artificial
illumination, even a light or continual flame spell, does not negate this ability. A
daylight spell, however, does.
Frightful Presence (Ex): A Shadow Dragon can unsettle foes with its mere presence.
The ability takes effect automatically whenever a dragon attacks, charges, or flies
overhead. Creatures within a radius of 210 feet are subject to the effect if they have
fewer HD than the dragon. A potentially affected creature that succeeds at a Will save
DC 26 remains immune to that dragon’s frightful presence for 24 hours. On a failure,
a creature with 4 or fewer Hit Dice becomes panicked for 4d6 rounds; one with 5 or
more Hit Dice becomes shaken for 4d6 rounds. Dragons ignore the frightful presence
of other dragons.

Paragon's Gift, Least (Su): Sorell has


the supernatural ability that allow her to
channel the spirit and skills of her
paragon. Unless otherwise noted, each
paragon's gift (least, lesser, greater, and
supreme) requires a swift action to
invoke, lasts for a number of rounds
equal Sorell’ mythic exemplar level, and
is usable once per day.

Dardallion: Sorell gain a +5


insight bonus on Disable Device,
Hide, Move Silently, and Open
Lock checks.

Archetype Advancement (Ex):

Dardallion: Sorell gains sneak


attack.

Sneak Attack (5d6 + 36): Sorell can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend
himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage.
Basically, Sorell’s attack deals extra damage any time her target would be denied a
Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or
when she flanks her target. Should Sorell score a critical hit with a sneak attack, this
extra damage is not multiplied. Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the
target is within 30 feet. Sorell can't strike with deadly accuracy from beyond that range.

Paragon's Gift, Lesser (Su): Sorell can choose to forgo her daily use of this ability for
an extra use of the least gift.

Dardallion: +4 insight bonus to Dexterity

Paragon's Gift, Greater (Su): Sorell can choose, you can forgo her daily use of this
ability for an extra use of her least or lesser gift.

Dardallion: Sorell can use blink, as the spell, as a swift action.

Paragon's Gift, Supreme (Su): Sorell can choose to forgo her daily use of this ability
for an extra use of her least, lesser, or greater gift.

Dardallion: Sorell can use greater invisibility, as the spell, as a swift action (self
only).

Ability Boost (Ex): Sorell’s Dexterity ability scores permanently increases by 2

Embody Paragon (Su): Sorell truly embodies every physical and spiritual concept of
Dardallion.

Dardallion: Sorell can turn incorporeal for up to 1 minute per day. This
duration need not be used all at once and can be divided into intervals as short
as 1 round. Shifting to or from incorporeality requires a move action.

Advanced Learning (Ex): Sorell can add a new spell to her list of spells known,
representing the result of personal study and experimentation. The spell must be a
divination spell of a level no higher than that of the highest-level arcane spell she
already knows. The spell can be from any class's spell list (arcane or divine). Once a
new spell is selected, it is forever added to your spell list and can be cast just like any
other spell on your list.
