    UNDERSTANDING THE SELF

    ACTIVITY 3: VIDEO ANALYSIS

     Based on the video, there are many reasons that stops the people from becoming a responsible
    citizen because of their state in life. Three (3) of the reasons I saw why they were like that were
    because of poverty, hunger and unemployment or livelihood. We can see in the video that their
    daily income is only enough for them to have something to eat but if we expand further, it will not
    be enough because of the lack of livelihood so that they can have something to eat on a daily basis.
    With the extreme hardship they are going through every day, they no longer know where to get
    food because they are losing the way where to get it, they can no longer bear the hardship and
    shame, they can only solve the hunger they are going through. Here are the Three (3) that I see as
    possible solutions for them to become a responsible citizen and for them to also solve the
    difficulties they go through on a daily basis.

    1.) Provide employment or sufficient livelihood to poor people like Leia's Family so that
    they can meet their daily expenses and satisfy their daily hunger so that they can no
    longer. they even worry about where they will get their daily food.

    2.) Conduct a program, Which is “HANAP BUHAY” that covers the livelihood where they
    can make a living and where everyone will be encouraged to do so because it can help
    themselves, family and not only that, they will also have a source of income which they can
    use in their daily living.

    3.) Give and work together in the midst of poverty, it is important that we further
    strengthen our organization in the midst of poverty, it is important that we still give
    whatever we have enough food because it is a great help to people there is nothing to eat
    if we can give them a little food that they can eat at that time. It's hard to think because of
    the current pandemic, it's hard to earn money to buy food but if we think to ourselves that
    double the food will come back to us when we help our neighbors, just help each other, be
    strong and no one will give up. Helped yourself, you have made people happy and you
    have taught them that in the midst of disaster, just work together and think that it will all
    end as well.

    And these are the only 3 reasons I can think of for us to be more responsible citizens, Just work
    together in every disaster, all problems do not end but we always think that all this is just a test and we
    can find a way.
