Notes:

 This brochure lists the testing services available at PTRI, the only
government textile testing laboratory.

 These Testing Fees for Textiles, Garments and Allied Products are
based on DOST Administrative Order No. 001 series of 2014 in
compliance to Malacañan Administrative Order No. 31, s. 2012.

 The PTRI Physical and Chemical Testing Laboratories are equipped

with equipment/instruments for the determination of the quality
levels of fibers, slivers, rovings, yarns, fabrics, garments, carpets,
geotextiles/geosynthetics and allied products including chemicals,
dyes and auxiliaries used for textile production.

 Tests are performed in accordance with PNS, ISO, AATCC, ASTM,

IWS, JIS Standards, etc. Test methods supplied/specified by
customers are also considered.

 Testing fees are to be paid in full upon submission of test request.

Students are given 20% discount of the published rates.

 Evaluation of Test Results to check conformance to given

specifications is Php 140.00 per sample. Certification for RA 9242
Compliance is Php 140.00 per sample.

 Certified true copies of Test Reports may be issued only upon

written request from customer. Minimum charge is Php 60.00 per
page.
