Introduction:
In the light of Inspection report submitted to your esteemed company in 14/7/2021 (copy attached) and your kind
comments raised in our meeting held in 15/7/2021 at PSP premises kindly find hereunder the inspection report as a
required data as per your kind request after EMC evaluated the said two packages and found in good condition.
Package Serial No.: EMC found some difference in unit serial no (as shown in below table), even that the
proposed package identification numbers are the same.

Compressor Frame
Check compressor frame for damage or crack Done
Check compressor frame name plate to make sure it meets the requirements (Model, Serial number, Stork,
MAWP. Max Road Load, Date of manufactured) Done
Check FF lubrication system (pumps, divider blocks, check valves, no-flow switch). Done
Open compressor top covers to check crankshaft, main bearing, connecting rod, thrust plates, tie rods, FF
lubricator drive chain, and oil pump. Khalda refused to open compressor top cover to avoid gasket damage
Check connecting rod side clearances No access for this inspection as Khalda refused to open frame top cover
Check crankshaft endplay to make sure it within limits. Khalda refused to open compressor top cover
Check crosshead cross, pins and make sure it free for rotation in crossheads. Done all are OK free of rotations.
Check compressor piston rods for bending, pitting, rusting. Done all are OK in a very good conditions
Check compressor suction & discharge valves for proper seating & conditions. Done all valves are in places
with good conditions.
Check compressor cylinders bore and pistons. Done all are looks very nice as brand new
Check oil wiper packing and pressure packing. Done all are OK in places
Check compressor front seal for damage or leaking. Done looks good.

Engine
Check engine name plate (Type, Model, S.N, Ignition, Power, Timing, Fuel, Manufacture date). Done
Open engine oil pan doors to clean crankcase Done opened only one side door
Check connecting rods check side clearances. Done checked only two connecting rod random found OK
Check Crankshaft end play, front and read oil seals for leaking No endplay was done
Open rocker arm covers and check rocker arms and push rods. Done all looking very nice
Check starting system (starter motor, three-way valve, lubricator, and connections). Done all are in places
Check fuel system (fuel scrubber, SRV, shut-off valve, fuel regulators, carburetors, and butterfly). Done all are
in places
Check Ignition System (Ignition module, ignition box, ignition rails, transformers, HT wires and spark plugs)
Done all are in places
Check speed control system (Governor, Actuator, Governor Linkages, connections). Done all are in places
Check air intake system (Air filters housing, turbochargers, after coolers Done all are in places
Check Exhaust System (Exhaust manifold, Exhaust muffler and piping).Done all are in places ( Exhaust
muffler& supports are shipped loose)
Check cooling system main and aux cooling systems (water pump, thermostatic housing and connections) Done
all are in places
Check lubrication system (oil pump, pressure regulator, oil cooler, oil filters, thermostatic valve, oil strainer
and lube oil connections) Done all are in places
Check vibration damper and front drive pulley in places. Done all are in places.

Cooler
Check cooler housing for hitting or damage. Done all are in a good conditions
Check fan bearings conditions and fan shaft for bending or damage. Done all are in places
Check fan idler shaft and idler bearings. Done all are in places
Check for cooler drive V belts conditions. Done ( no V-belts available)
Check cooler fans for damage, crack, and free of rotations Done all are OK
Check cooler sections and record name plates to make sure (MAWP, Hydro Test Pressure) are correct as per
design. Done all are OK
Check safety relief valves setting for each cooler sections. Done all are OK
Check cooler tubes for damage or bending. Done all are OK
Check louver system Done all are OK

Control Panel
Check for panel wiring diagram and drawing Visually Done all are OK
Check control panel, switch gauges, power supply, and wiring Visually Done all are OK
Check for pressure switches, temp. switches, vibration switches, and related sensors, visually done all are OK.
Note :The attached pictures taken during inspection visit showing the good condition of V-6161 and V-6162
Packages will be submitted a soft copy to be clear for check instead of print one.

Conclusion :
The submitted report dated 14/7/2021 and this additional document to confirm Egyptian Maintenance
Company (EMC) technical acceptance for the compression packages condition after our survey and inspection,
While On skid Engineering is on processing and it will be submitted as per project schedule.
EMC is ready to proceed in second phase of this project once receiving the second work order and down
payment.
