    The island group of Luzon is represented by the
    world-renowned “Parol/Christmas Lantern” from the
    province of Pampanga with an aluminum border
    (designed and made in Floridablanca, Pampanga “home
    of the pinukpuk/aluminum.”
    Visayas was represented by the patterned
    bodysuit, carries patterns on tattoed on
    Pintados warriors . The suit is meant to
    represent the strength of the Visayan people.
    Mindanao was
    represented by
    the beaded
    headdress and
    earrings along
    with the brass
    belt shoes,
    showcase the art
    of the different
    tribes of
    Mindanao.
    “LUZVIMINDA”
    The final design became “LuzViMinda,” an outfit
    that paid tribute to the country’s 3 major island
    groups.
