    Parents: My parents are very cool.

    Mother/mom/mommy: Happy Mother’s Day.

    Father/dad/daddy/The boss: Happy Father’s Day

    Children/kids: Many students don’t want to have children right now.

    Daughter: My daughter is inattentive.

    Son: My son is wild.

    Brother/bro: My brother hit me.

    Sister/Sis: My sister likes drawing.

    Armchair: Under my armchair there is a cockroach.

    Lamp: My lamp is on my desk

    Fireplace: There is wood in my fireplace.

    Coffee table: The coffee table is between the sofas.

    Curtains: The curtains are next to the windows

    PREPOSITIONS OF PLACE

    In front of: There is a bank opposite my school. There is a man in front of my school.

    Next to (the): The woman next to me is disturbing me.

    Under the: There is a rat under the bookcase. There is a cat under the table

    Behind: there is a garden behind my house. Behind my house there is a park.

    In: There is a pen in the drawer.

    Above: There is a painting above my bed. There is a mosquito above me.

    On: There is a cat on my coffee table.

    Opposite: Can you put this clock opposite the fireplace?

    Between: I’m between two big elephants.
