Prior to February 1998 all lubricant formulation approvals in the

US were administered by the USDA. To gain approval a lubricant
manufacturer had to prove that all the ingredients in the formulation
were allowable substances in accordance with the Guidelines of

Ester Base Fluids and Lubricity Additives

Croda has an industry leading product offering covering a wide viscosity range (ISO 15 – ISO 320), an offering which also includes products with
excellent oxidation stability properties for high temperature applications or for long-life lubricating fluids.
Many of Croda’s esters are derived from renewable and sustainable raw materials and all exhibit a high degree of biodegradability.

Polyalkylene Glycols
Croda has a range of water-soluble and water-insoluble PAGs are particularly well suited for use as carriers for solid
polyalkylene glycols (PAGs) which are suitable for use in the lubricants, such as graphite and MoS 2, in high temperature
