delivers application support and maintenance services to client.

Description: National Grid is an essential Gas transporter company. National Grid


distributes gas through its network of pipes and other assets. Its network supplies
almost half of Great Britain’s energy needs. To increase the operational efficiency,
National Grid has planned to transform all legacy systems into SAP as a common
platform. Assignment involves analyzing the readiness of National Grid Asset and
Work management systems and identifies the business changes required for
Transformation of all National Grid Gas distribution legacy systems.

Responsibilities:

 Detailed analysis on National Grid Legacy systems


 Gather business requirements by conducting design and solution work shops
 Prepare design prototypes, Options and Design documents.

Description: This was an application support project delivering support and


maintenance services to National Grid’s Asset and Work Management Systems with
UK Distribution support. This project was responsible for supporting the business
operations of 120 applications in UK Gas distribution. Most of these applications are
based on Oracle database and developed in various front end technologies. This
application suite includes Emergency, Maintenance, Repair systems and Scheduling &
Field applications and BOB products like STORMS, ETON, Click, Syclo, TEAR etc.

Responsibilities:
 Hands on experience on call/ticket handling process, change management
process, business continuity & disaster recovery management, production
integration and deployment process, Effort Tracking.
 Development and implementation of enhancements and change requests for planned and ad hoc
changes.
 Generation of various complex reports from databases based on ad hoc business requirements.
 Coordination with Business and managing delivery and operations of work
management systems pool. Managing client deliverables and expectations,

government bodies.

5. Integration of SAP with STORMS application

Description: This project deals with the integration of SAP with NG work
management system Sevren Trent Operations Resource Management System
(STORMS). This involves developing bi-directional interfaces between two systems
that facilitate automatic creation of work orders in STORMS. Sales orders created in
SAP will flow to STORMS via JCAPS, interface processes and validates the data and
loads it into STORMS database for work order creation. The required information
automatically transferred back to SAP at various levels on specified trigger conditions
from STORMS.

Responsibilities:

 Developed PL/SQL packages, procedures and functions for data validations
