Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS has inked an MOU with Board of Engineers
Malaysia (BEM) on 28th February 2017 which allows UTP to facilitate group
registration of engineering undergraduates as Graduate Engineer with BEM.

⚫ BEM recognises the experience gained by an engineering graduate only after he has
registered as a Graduate Engineer.
⚫ Using the abbreviation “Grad.Eng.” after his name or in any way associate with his
name.
Subsection 10(1) defines the qualification for registration as a Graduate Engineer with
BEM. A person who holds any qualifications in engineering which is recognised by the
Board shall be entitled on application to be registered as a Graduate Engineer.

Office directly for processing of your application

(applicable for those with credit transfer to UTP degree

Instruction:
1. Complete the E-form
2. Return the Form A1 with necessary documents to
respective Department by Friday 29 March 2019.

1. Applicants must complete both Form A1 and e-form. Failing which your application
will not be processed and fee will not be refunded.
2. To avoid such unnecessary delay, please ensure that the documents submitted are
correct, complete and clear.

approval on students’ completion status)
