Test Run Server Configuration

The typical process of building a numerical model includes modeling, testing the model, then running
the full analysis. The ELS Test Server provides users that ability to test their model for the first frame
of analysis to ensure that their model is build correctly. Users can view the results of the first frame
of their model from the ELS Test Server to evaluate any issues they might have before provisioning a
paid ELS Analysis Server (See below ELS Analysis Server for more information). With your ELS Cloud
subscription you can send an unlimited number of ELS Models to the ELS Test Server at no additional
cost, saving you the cost of an active ELS Analysis Server.
Follow this configuration when you are ready to test your first ELS model. Once you’ve input the
information for the first time, it will be saved for future test runs.
1. Go to Analysis> Test Run

2. Enter ELS Test Run Server Information

a. Server: cloud.extremeloading.com
b. Username and password (Provided after subscription purchase)
c. Port: 21

3. Click OK, then wait until upload of your first ELS Model is completed. This will upload your ELS
file to our test server. Once uploaded the ELS Test Server will automatically run the first
frame of analysis.
