1.0 PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

2.0 DEFINITIONS

2.1 PROJECT – FGB.

2.2 CONSULTANT – AEC

2.3 MAIN CONTRACTOR – DHAFIR

2.4 CONTRACTOR – ELMACS

2.5 HSE – Health, Safety and Environment;

2.6 PPE – Personal Protective Equipment.

2.7 AFC – Approved for Construction;

3.0 HSE REQUIREMENTS

3.1 All staff & labors working at site shall attend HSE introduction / awareness training programs conducted
by the Safety Engineer / Officer.

3.2 Nominated supervisor will remain at site during the execution of the work.

3.3 Necessary safety precautions shall be implemented for all activities associated with Electrical such as
installation of electrical equipment and identified the materials as per the material data sheets.

3.4 PPE shall be worn at all times.


4.0 EQUIPMENTS

 Chiller 30XA Carrier

5.0 RESPONSIBLE PERSONNEL ON SITE

5.1 Project Manager - will be the point of contact for the project execution and quality. Also he will
maintain the planning progress and coordination of works with Main Contractor.

5.2 Commissioning/Site Engineer - Will have responsibility for the testing activities.

5.3 Project / site HVAC Engineer - Ensures all the works are being carried out as per the latest approved
drawings and specifications and co-ordinate with QA/QC Department for Inspection and Approval. Will ensure
all relevant safety precautions in the execution of the job are adhered to at all times and implement company
safety standards and compliance.

5.5 Health & Safety - is to monitor compliance with the procedure as per method statement and
implement all Health, Safety and Environmental precautions and aspects of the works on site. Reporting
deviations to the Access Control Site Engineer for rectification. All precautions that are put in place (as per
Risk Assessment) will be made apparent to all persons relating and persons affected by this activity and
situation.

5.6 QA/QC Department - will oversee the quality requirements and quality control measures for the
Project in coordination with the Senior Project Engineer as outlined in the QA/QC Manual.

 Supplier perform the activities related to their scope in a safe manner.

 Contractors: perform the activities related to their scope in a safe manner.

7.0 PROCEDURES

Note: Depends on how you organized your procedures.

(POWER ON – ALL SYSTEM SWITCHES “ON”)

1. Ensure the chiller OFF/ON UNIT switch is ON.

2. Ensure for 3 phase power

3.Verify the control panel display is illuminated

4. Turn on the UNIT SWITCH and program the System Switches on the Keypad to the "ON" position.

5. Unit has to be tested on full load with all parameters

6. Unit delta T will verified at full load

7. Unit Current will verified at full load

8. Unit Water flow will verified as per design

9. All Required parameters has to be recorded and verified with the design

Test report format should be in editable format (MS WORD).

Check list and test report format should contain the below approval authorities.
