Overview:
This module demonstrate understanding about the use
of common and proper nouns in a sentence. Having a proper knowledge in the correct use of these nouns
is of great help for us to be able tocommunicate effectively in oral and in written forms.

Introduction:
Without nouns, it is hard to identify people around you, the things that you use, the places that you visit,
or the events that happen to you. Common and proper nouns are kinds of nouns that are used in writing
sentences and in describing the things around.

Let us get started. Let’s now talk about common and proper nouns.

Discussion:
Noun names place, person, animal, things or events. Some nouns give general names, others give a
specific names for person, place, animal, things or events.Below are nouns. Read them carefully.
