In line with that, San Juan Baño Elementary School is annually conducting a program
to honor every Filipino family through a month-long celebration. This year’s Family Day
Pamilya.” Various activities were held to sustain the enjoyment and happiness during the
event.
The festivities, which held on November 16, 2018 “was an opportune time for
families to relax and socialize as the students, parents and teachers participated and
enjoyed the bustling music, electrifying dances and exciting parlour games. These activities
enabled the students to recognize that the family provides a sense of belonging and a
unique identity to them. It also created a special emotional feeling in the students about
their family.
The celebration started with the assembly and registration for the parents together
with their kids. The program started at exactly 8:00 am. It began with prayer led by Mrs.
Lucila V. Batu (Grade III Teacher) followed by singing of our National Anthem led by Ms.
Irish M. Ignacio (Music Leader). The program warmed and graced by the message of our
beloved Principal II Mr. Randy S. Trono. Mind-bending messages from our Brgy. Capt.
Froiland M. Soriano and Councilor Lilia Soriano encouraged and inspired every parents and
students to continue their support to the school and build a better relationship among San
The first part of the program was a parenting seminar, our invited speakers SB
MEMBER Ferdinand Kabigting, came and shared his expertise regarding Responsible
Parenting and Family Planning. San Juan Baño Councillor for Education Lilia Soriano
discussed about Duties and Responsibilities of Parents and our School Health Leader Oliver
O. Magpale gave his message to the parents about the importance of Good/ Proper
Hygiene. This allows them to share time together and learn positive messages for family
life, how to preserve their families, and the importance of team work within the family.
Event host Sir Marvin Mallari and Ma’am Mary Grace Pegollo, entertained and
thrilled the crowd during the fellowship and announcement of the winners of the raffle
draw.
Aside from that, the event was divided in different fun filled activities such as “Film
Festivals” kids watched different family oriented movies, Slogan Making Contest and
would remain as a memory of this event. The parents as well as the children thoroughly

as their inspiration and motivation to continue their journey, followed by as the parents
