Why do you wish to study in Canada in the program for which you have been
accepted?
From a very early age, I had a fascination for computation and programming. So, from my
school days, I had started my research to find a suitable university where I could pursue my
desired subject. And throughout the process, I have found out that it would be best to choose
Canada over any other country, due to her cordial environment and the amicable condition for
higher education. Then I chose the Algoma University as it is one of the world’s most
renowned university in the fields of science and technology (especially computer science).
The university is also famous for its AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Machine Learning research.
As preplanned, I am interestedabout the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science as it
sparks my love for learning and aligns with my passion.
The Algoma University is also an easy choice due to the fact that the faculties and trainers
there are world class. To add to that, Ontario is a very attractive place for young international
students for its student friendly atmosphere.
Another important reason for me to choose the Algoma University is its global recognition.
Finally, considering other important factors like cost and expense, I finally decided to study in
the program I have been accepted to at the Algoma University.
What is your overall education goal?
The modern age is the age of data and computation. So, the importance of a Computing
Science degree in today’s perspective is unquestionable. I have always had interest in
Information Security and Systems. So, when I got the offer from the Algoma University, I
immediately planned to pursue my degree from this prestigious university. When I will get my
degree, I hope to return to Bangladesh to implement my knowledge in various fields of
Information technology and thus try to have a revolutionary impact in the development of the
country.
Why are you not pursuing a similar program in your country of residence /citizenship?
Though Bangladesh has the raw potential to offer a well-structured Computer Science course,
it lags in ensuring practical and hands-on experience for all the students due to lack of proper
resources and efficient management skills. But a degree from Canada will let me gain an in-
depth knowledge of my field of interest through interactive teaching methods and empirical
training on computers and technology.
The research facilities of Algoma University have global fame which will surely help me to
gain international exposure in my field.

How will this program enhance your employment opportunities in your country of
residence/citizenship?
The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program of Algoma University is designed for
an industry-based workflow. And there is a huge untapped field in Information Systems in
Bangladesh where the necessity of skilled graduates is very important. So, by pursuing my
course from this university I will surely have an upper hand over others due to my practical
knowledge in the field of IT and Computers.
What ties do you have to your country of residence/citizenship?
I have a close tie with all my family and friends residing in Bangladesh. My father is a private
employee and my mother is a house wife. And both are well-to-do in the context of our
society. My family has backed me up throughout my childhood and adolescence. My parents
have always given utmost importance to my education and I will be ever grateful to them for
helping me out in any sort of issue.
My father decide to do business in future, he will need of skilled technical staff and engineers.
So, I plan to assist him in the technical aspects of my father’s future business using my skills
and education that I hope to earn from Canada and thus help my father’s business flourish in
the coming future. Therefore, I will surely come back to Bangladesh as soon as I complete my
degree to develop the Information Systems of my father’s future business and also contribute
to the overall advancement of Bangladesh.

What is your parent’s/guardian's immigration status in their current country of

All my family members are Bangladeshi by birth. They hold the Bangladeshi national
ID/Passport and are living in Bangladesh.
