Explain department’s meal break policy and where to punch in and out for breaks.
Discuss overtime rules and approvals.
GENERAL RULES:
Red Sticker policy (items subject to inspection by Loss Prevention or Management.)
No personal phone calls at work and use of personal or pay phone during breaks.

Explain Hotel/Department Recognition programs.
SAFETY:
“Clean as you go” policy, especially as it relates to water puddles, and foreign objects on walking surfaces.
Fire/Emergency Procedures. Designated area where to meet after an evacuation.
Nearest fire extinguisher location. Demonstrate how to use. PASS - Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep.
Report all accidents/incidents IMMEDIATELY to your Manager or Manager on Duty. Regardless of how minor.
Accident Prevention Committee. Explain who the representative is and invite to participate in meetings.
o USA Patriot Act Training .5 hours (Front Office and Accounting positions)
PAY POLICIES:
Review department’s procedure for requesting time off.
Pay period begins on Saturday and ends on Friday. Payday is Thursdays.
