1-Do you prefer to work by yourself or with others?

I prefer to work with others(You're in BPO expect to play as a team), But Honestly I can work both ways since there
will be instances that you need do to things on your own but I do believe having people to work with could yield
better results.

2-what are your strengths and weaknesses?

Make this personal, that way it will come sincere and not too much scripted like the overly used flexible and
hardworking dialogue every HR has heard. There is already a lot of answers about this in the group, if you have the
time please use the search button since many people already contributed great answers to this question though I
strongly suggest you create your own since it defines YOU.

3-how did you happen to apply for this job?

(I saw an ad in facebook, I did a search online, etc...) That your company is looking for qualified applicants so I
wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to apply and be part of your growing company.

4-what particular qualifications do you have for this job?

-Showcase your talent, achievement, anything positive
I am a graduate of Information Technology though I am not familiar with the BPO industry I do believe I have the
sets of skills that matches your criteria in order to work in your company

5-why should we hire you when we have applicants with more experience or better credentials?
(Am I the only one who finds this question inappropriate or what I consider a bitch question? I mean most of the
applicants know that and you don't need to rub it in our face. I wish I can say then “by all means HIRE THEM” lol,
let’s just assume they are challenging you, Anyways)
-This is my bitchy answer please read with caution-
I do believe that each person is unique and each applicant is different. To me having credentials and experience
maybe one of the ways to find a good applicant but knowing their qualities can be a different story. If you’re looking
for someone who can commit and promises loyalty with a sense of gratitude then hire me but if you value
credentials and experience with the uncertainty if that employee will stay hire them instead.
(I am not being egotistic in the matter but rather facing the reality if someone is overqualified enough for that job
they won’t settle for anything less. Most of the time applicants who are confident enough to have better credentials
and experience will not apply for a lesser job that is irrelevant to their line of expertise unless it is their last resort
and for sure will leave later for better opportunity.)

-Here’s my less of a bitch answer-

To me What I can offer is commitment because to me being grateful that someone has given you the opportunity to
work is entrusting you to build a bond. I treat my job as my 2nd family so I give my trust and work with faith that
me and my 2nd family will move to greater heights. I maybe anything less with the others but I’ll take that to my
advantage because I can promise to do twice as much and work hard to learn the things I needed to ensure I am able
to do great things to be acknowledge as part of the company or my 2nd family.

6-what are your major accomplishments in each of you past jobs?

-Question number 6 has typo error **in each of your past jobs?
State as many as you can if you have one…
Ex. I’ve work with my previous company for a year and I was able to widen my knowledge in this industry. I’ve
learnt different process in details and level up my expertise in this particular field.

7-what were you major achievements in college?

Pretty much self-explanatory

8-what do you expect to be five years from now?

I expect to be in a regular position in your company and continue to be promoted over the years coming.
9-if your supervisor was dissatisfied with your work and you thought it was acceptable, how would you resolve the
conflict?
I value feedback of my performance I think it’s an important part to formulate solutions that will enhance the results
of my work. I will approach my supervisor with respect and ask for help to improve myself or find new ways to
assess circumstances. I think it’s always important to treat everyone with respect and it doesn’t hurt to accept
opinions of other people specially your supervisor which is someone who have more experience and knowledge but
regardless of the issue, we should always respect each other.

10-Do you plan to continue you education? I wish I could but given the situation if I say YES or commit myself to
work I give an assurance to finish which means I already decided not to continue my education since the company
needs me full time.
-Or just simply say No.

11-if you could change one thing in your personality, what would it be and why?
-Something personal will be:
I am quite shy at times and I wish I could be more engaging or less boring as I seem to be that way I can meet more
people and enlarge my circle of friends.

12-what do you want the most from your job? Money? Security? Power? And why?
I think I’ll choose security because if a job secures its employees then they don’t need to look for other jobs. Money
fades or depreciates its value while power is something that someone should be capable of handling. Security gives
you a worry free perspective that builds a solid foundation of work relationship.

-My opinion and base on my knowledge Hope it helps

What is your ideal working environment?

I prefer with a clean environment and sorround with optimist people as my team so that I could work
more freely and confidently to be able to do the work fast and well done.

Why do you want to work in a call center?

best industry where I can showcase my skills and ability. A platform that gave equal opportunities for graduates ,undergraduates

I'm pretty sure to myself I'll be proud to be a member of the family.

General Interview Questions!

Regardless of the industry or job title, all job seekers will likely encounter the following interview
questions:
1. Tell me about yourself.
This question is usually the opening ice-breaker. Take this time to highlight your accomplishments,
strengths and previous job experience, while also mapping them to some of the specific desired
qualifications outlined in the job description.
Be professional, but also show some personality. Beyond your experience and skills, interviewers
are also trying to determine if you’ll be a good cultural fit.
2. Why did you leave your last job?
Honesty is definitely the best policy here, but avoid disparaging your former employer. Some great
responses could be:
- I wanted a new opportunity where I could learn new things and grow my career, but also where I
could work more directly with people.
I wanted to find something more challenging where I could perfect and develop new skills.
3. Why do you want to work for our company?
Interviewers want to understand your career intentions, as well as know if you’ve done your
company research. Share something you’ve learned about the company’s mission, values or
reputation, and tell interviewers why it’s important to you. Your response could sound something like
this:
- During my research, I discovered that your company really values training and ongoing learning for
your employees, and as someone who loves to learn new things and be challenged, this is important
to me.
4. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Once again, match your strengths to the preferred skills and qualifications in the job description to
reinforce that you’re a strong candidate. When it comes to weaknesses, look for ways to turn them
into strengths. For example, you might say:
- One of my greatest strengths is my ability to learn fast on the job and teach myself different
skillsets. And while I don’t have much experience in customer service, I think my ability to learn will
help me overcome that obstacle quickly.

center agent should have.
5. What questions do you have for us?
This question not only gives you the opportunity to learn more about the position and the company,
but also the ability to promote your skills and desire to become a part of the team.
Compile a few questions while doing your company research. Some questions you may want to ask,
as well as some potential follow up responses, are:
- What would a typical day look like for me?
Response: I’ve been exposed to both structured and unstructured work environments, so I feel like I
can easily adapt to this kind of work day.
How many people would be on my team?
Response: I’ve been a part of both small and large teams, so this seems like something that is right
up my alley.
What does your timeline for hiring someone look like?
Response: That sounds great. I’m available to start in two weeks.

For Call Center Agent Job Seekers
Whether this would be your first or next position as a call center agent, you can expect many of the
following questions:
6. What’s your idea of a call center?
If you have no previous call center experience, interviewers will use this question to gauge your
familiarity with the call center environment. Use this opportunity to not only highlight the actual
function of a call center, but also the role call center agents play in providing quality customer
service.
You should also pay special attention to what kind of call center you are applying for. Inbound call
centers field the customer calls placed towards a business and your time will be spent addressing
customer questions and concerns. Whereas in outbound call centers, you will be responsible for
dialing customers and prospects to collect survey responses, schedule sales demonstrations,
perform telemarketing, and more.
For example, if you’re applying for a customer service call center position, your answer might be:
- To me, a customer service call center is the frontline of all customer interactions. It’s the job of call
center agents to listen and understand customer concerns while also providing helpful information.
At the end of the day, customer service call centers need to create satisfied customers with every
call.
7. Why do you want to work in a call center?
Illustrate your knowledge of a call center’s atmosphere and the unique demands you’ll face in the
position. For example, you could say:
- I’m excited to work in a fast-paced environment that will challenge me to use all of my skills to solve
problems and improve the customer experience. I love flexing my communication skills and
interacting with customers.
To learn a bit more about what it’s like to work at a call center, read our answers to the six most
common questions job seekers have about working in a call center.
8. What is your idea of quality customer service?
Interviewers want to know what you think quality customer service is and how you would deliver it.
Your response could sound something like this:
- My idea of quality customer service is being able to provide customers with friendly, professional
service that not only solves their problems or answers their questions, but also leaves them feeling
satisfied with the service they received.
9. How would you handle a call from an angry customer?
Angry customer calls are a reality for any call center. Tell interviewers the steps you would take to
de-escalate the situation and solve the problem. Be detailed in your response and emphasize that
staying calm and empathetic during the call will be key to coming up with a solution the customer will
be happy with. For example, you might answer:
- I think the first step is to stay calm and express to the customer that you understand them. I think
it’s also important to remember that it isn’t personal, and the best way to de-escalate the situation is
to work towards a solution.
10. Are you able to work with multiple phone lines?
If you have previous call center experience, answering yes to this question should be easy. In
addition, tell interviewers how many calls you handled during a typical day. For those without
previous experience, highlight other positions that required multi-tasking skills. A response might be:
- While I haven’t worked in a call center previously, I have juggled customer service while I was
working in retail. Handling multiple customer returns each day involved a lot of multitasking with our
inventory system, communicating with the customer, and accessing our POS system.

What are your strengths?

Make sure your answer is truthful, relevant to the position and company you’re applying for and
accurate.
Ultimately what you’re aiming to do is to reassure the hiring manager that you’re the right person for
the job. You want to make sure your answer shows them that your strengths are in line with what the
company needs and is looking for.
You need to let them know that you are fully capable of doing the job you’re being hired to perform
and that you are the best person…the perfect candidate for the position.
You want them to know that by hiring you they’re getting someone with the qualities, skills and
experience that will not only make you an excellent part of the team, but also sets you apart from
any other potential candidates.
If you find yourself in a situation where the interviewer asks you “What are your strengths and
weaknesses at the same time, make sure to always start with your weaknesses and end with your
strengths. You want to leave a good taste in the hiring manager's mouth, so make sure the last thing
you say in your response is something that leaves you in a positive light.
---
What is your weakness?
When an interviewer asks you this question, they’re trying to see how well you respond to a question
that’s intentionally meant to throw you off your game.
The number one job of the hiring manager is to find the perfect candidate for the job and that means
weeding out anyone who might not be the right fit.
They want to see how you react to a question meant to throw you off your carefully memorized path
as well as gauge just how good you are at being self-critical and aware.
Nobody wants to admit that they have weaknesses, but a good candidate…a perfect candidate…can
take that weakness and turn it into a strength…even while still dealing with overcoming that
weakness.
Be sure to also make certain that the weakness you’re going to use is minor enough not to raise red
flags (but no so minor as to seem like a cop-out). It’s also good to make sure it’s a “fixable” problem.

14 Common Call Center Job Interview Questions and Answers

What are the most common and hardest to answer call center interview questions for beginners, first
timers, and freshers? If you read on, you will be equipped with valuable call center interview tips and
how to answer call center interview questions. While call center interview questions will mostly
resemble interview questions found in job interviews in other industries, the content of your answers
will have to be tailor-made for the needs of call center companies. Call center job interviewers will
primarily be on the lookout for skills such as flexibility, customer service, multitasking, good
communication, and critical thinking. This guide featuring call center interview questions and
answers is presented in a question and answer format and will help you pass call center interviews.
The answers are given in a script format. This will be followed by a short explanation on each call
center interview question and answer.
Call Center Interview Question 1: Tell me something about yourself.
Call Center Interview Answer 1: Well, I can say that I am a person with varied interests. During my
spare time, I like to sketch anything that I see on the street such as a dog passing by or a little girl
buying candy from the neighborhood store. These things fascinate me. I guess I like to observe
people. On Sundays, I do volunteer work at an orphanage. My volunteer work consists of
encouraging wealthy people to donate money to the orphanage. What we do is we go to the upscale
neighborhoods of the city and tell them about the orphanage. When I have the time, I also like to
read novels, and play basketball.
Explanation to Call Center Interview Question and Answer 1:
This call center interview question is probably one of the most neglected and least prepared for by
interviewees. The question seems very simple and direct to the point. Your answer though to this
question will set the course of the interview. From this very simple question, interviewers can likely
guess at whether you are a good candidate or not so please do not take this question for granted.
Most applicants will answer this call center interview question with information already found on their
resumes like their name, address, and school information. Do not make this mistake. When being
asked this question, you are supposed to answer with information not found on your resume. Why
would the interviewer want to know about your name, age, and address when this information is
already on your resume?
A very good answer to the call center interview question would be to talk about your hobbies. When
you do talk about hobbies, remember that by doing this, you are also providing the interviewer with
information about your skills. For example, if you say that you play sports like basketball or baseball,
this tells the interviewer that you are competitive. If you say that you like to play chess, this means
you’re analytical. If you tell the interviewer that you are involved with various organizations, this
spells leadership and people skills. So do not take this call center interview question for granted.
Make sure to answer this question by giving the interviewer an idea that you are who they are
looking for. If you do not have any “good hobbies” (like all you can say is watch HBO, eating, and
sleeping), another approach you can take is talking about your family. Describe your relationship
with your family. Talk about your brother, the pilot, or your mom, the actress. Say that you are very
close to your family, that you guys go to church every Sunday and watch a movie afterward. If you
like to watch TV, amuse your employer by saying something like I’m addicted to Lost. I watch all Lost
episodes on DVD every day. If all you have in your arsenal is reading, then make it sound better and
more interesting by saying that you are a voracious book reader. Rack your brain. Make sure that
when you tell something about yourself, it sounds interesting and will make you shine.
