2. Insulation Resistance Test IEC 11.9
Before and After performing High Voltage Test, performe the Insulation Resistance test.
‐ Close all the breaker in service position.
‐ Isolate the VT's and short circuit the CT's secondary of all the feeders
‐ Electronic component of measuring and control equipment, if assembled to be isolated to avoid damage.
‐ Apply at least 500 VDC Insulation Tester among each phase in succession and the earthed one for 1 minute.
‐ The test is satisfactory if the insulation resistance between circuits and exposed conductive parts is at least 1000 Ω/V
3. Power Frequency Withstand Test. IEC 11.9
A power frequency withhstand test shall be performed on all main circuit in accordance with IEC standart for a duration of 1 second.
‐ The test is satisfactory if there is no puncture or flashover.
