    SYNOPSIS

    Two solitary individuals meet each other every day in the city of Calcutta and
    share the stories of their imaginary life. But one day when death makes an
    appearance, the truth is revealed.
    DIRECTOR'S INTENTION

    The story centres around a man (60 years) and a woman (30 years). Both of them go to city everyday
    for work and return to their suburb in the evening. The city is quite indifferent about them. I felt like
    listening to their stories. But the aloofness of the city does allow them to tell their real stories. So I follow
    them.

    I always wanted to be like the walls of the cities which over the centuries have listened to these stories.
    But with modernization, the walls are collapsing .I am scared that people will be more lonely when all
    the walls would disappear.

    Amitabha Chaterji is an Independent filmmaker from India. His first feature film 'Manohar
    & I' got best debut director award in the International Film Festival of Kerala 2018.He
    also received the Best Debut Film Award nomination in Jaffna International Cinema
    Festival 2019 & Best Feature Film Award in the Pondicherry International Film Festival
    2019. He received certificates in Indology, Appreciation of Indian Art, Appreciation of
    Film Aesthetics from state government of India. He is also a passionate street-
    photographer.
