I’m sitting in my favourite café and I’m drinking a delicious banana milkshake. I come here early every
Saturday because it’s very quiet then and I can write my blog before I meet up with my friends. The
people who work here are very friendly and they always prepare nice food. I usually have breakfast
when I come here – yoghurt with fresh fruit, an egg, some cheese and some fresh bread and butter.
It’s very cheap too!
I think food is very important and I want to eat healthy things. At the moment I’m not eating meat
because you often can’t tell where it comes from when you buy it in the supermarket. Mum thinks I’m
crazy and she says she doesn’t have time to go to the market to buy local meat. I’m happy with fruit
and vegetables and sometimes I have fish.Today I’m cooking for my family so I’m going to the
market now to see what I can find.

Write the questions.

1 Where is Emma ?
She’s in her favourite café.
2 Why does she go there early ?

3 What does she have for breakfast ?

4 Why isn’t she eating meat at the moment ?

5 Where is she going ?
