    the injury suffered.

    The court awarded the amount of RM65,000.00 for the open fracture and
    dislocation of the right radial head
    - Raja Zainal Abidin b Hj Raja Hassim v Tan Boon Yam t/a Hup Heng

    The court awarded the amount of RM20,000.00 for the fracture of right
    ulna and dislocation of the radial head.

    The Court awarded the plaintiff the amount of RM5,000.00 for the
    “disabilities mallet deformity of the 5th digit noted”.

    4. Partial tear of plaintiff’s right Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL)


    -Ramesh Kumaran v Zamri Abdullah & Anor [2019] 5 LNS [28],
    The court decided to give the amount of RM 20,000.00 based on the
    trend and the limit that is allowed by the Compedium of Personal Injury
    2018.

    -Aznul bin Rahman & 2 Ors v Tan Leh Kiat & Anor [2016] 1 PIR [50],
    Mohd Shahrul bin Md Yusof v Subramaniam a/l Nadeson [2015] 1 PIR
    [54] The court awarded the sum of RM25 000.00 to the plaintiff for the
    injury of ACL tear.

    -AK Nazaruddin bin Ahmad v Abdul Waffiy bin Wahubbi & Anor
    [2017] 2 PIR [61] the plaintiff suffers from ACL on the right knee. The
    court awarded the plaintiff with the amount of RM20, 000.00

    -Nur Ali v Varghese a/l Matthew & Anor[2018] AMEJ 0101


    The plaintiff asked for the amount of RM 16,500.00 , the court affirmed
    the decision as RM16,500.00 was the minimum amount of award listed
    under the Compendium of Personal Injury

    -Abdul Wafiey bin Wahubbi v AK Nazaruddin bin Ahmad [2017] 2 PIR


    [1] The court awarded the plaintiff the amount of RM50,000.00 as fair
    and reasonable.

    5. Cost of crutches

    The court followed the receipt as the plaintiff was able to prove the
    amount given.

    8. PHYSIOTHERAPY
    -Ramesh Kumaran v Zamri Abdullah & Anor[2019] 5 LNS [61]
    The court followed the report made by the Orthopaedic Surgeon and
    follow the course of the of period for 3 months needed for the plaintiff
    to undergo the therapy . The amount given was RM1,680.00.
