STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The Researchers aimed to conduct this study to help people,Specifically the students because
they are the most that consumes glue in making school works at thier school even at home.

The Researchers aims to answer the following questions:

GENERAL PROBLEM:

•Who are the beneficiaries of this study?

•What is the harmful effect of Paper glue to those people that will use it?

•What kind of substance are present in Aloe vera that are able to make paper glue?

SPECIFIC PROBLEM:

•What kind of Aloe vera will use in the study?

•Is aloe vera and Sodium bicarbonate can develop a Paper glue?

•Is there a way to produce a Paper glue?

SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

The Researchers focus about the Aloe vera if the extract of it can make or able to make a Paper
glue and also the Sodium bicarbonate. This study can benefit the students,Teachers and office
workers. We are dedicated to improve the effectiveness or potential of glue by using the extract
of the plant with Sodium bicarbonate. There is comparative study between the commercialized
of glue and Aloe vera glue done in this study. This research will be conducted on September
2019 at Baao National High school's Laboratory room.

SIGNICANCE OF THE STUDY

This study is very significant because of the ingredients used in this product are all natural and
non toxic chemical. This beneficiaries of this study are those people who wants to have their
own income nor business such as teachers, office workers and commonly students. They will be
benefit of this study to guide and make their own inovative source in the production of glue.

HYPOTHESIS

We the researchers, conducted a study about the production of

glue using Aloe vera with Sodium bicarbonate and formulated the
following null and alternative hypothesis.

Alternative Hypothesis:

•There is no significant difference on the production of glue using

Aloe vera with Sodium bicarbonate than the commercialized product.

Null hypothesis:

•There is significant difference on the production of glue using

Aloe vera with Sodium bicarbonate than the commercialized product.
DEFINITION OF TERMS

Glue- is an adhesive substance used in sticking or putting together an object

Aloe vera- is a succulent plant species of the genus Aloe.It originates at the Arabian Peninsula
but grows wild in Tropical climates and it is cultivated for agricultural and medicinal
uses.Belongs to Family Liliaceae.

Drug Aloe- it is the gel like substance that gives thickness of the glue made up og Aloe vera.

Vinegar- is an aqueous solution of acetic acid and trace chemicals that may

the acetic acid is produced by the fermentation of ethanol or sugars by acetic acid
bacteria.

Millk- is a manufactured dairy product made by evaporating milk to dryness. One

purpose of drying milk is to preserve it; milk powder has a far longer shelf life than
liquid milk and does not need to be refrigerated, due to its low moisture content.

Baking Soda- is a chemical compound with the formula NaHCO3. It is a salt

composed of a sodium cation (Na+) and a bicarbonate anion (HCO3−). Sodium
bicarbonate is a white solid that is crystalline, but often appears as a fine powder.
It has a slightly salty, alkaline taste resembling that of washing soda (sodium
carbonate). The natural mineral form is nahcolite. It is a component of the mineral
natron and is found dissolved in many mineral springs.
