Introduction:
Home is a dream of every person that shows the quantity of efforts, sacrifices luxuries and above all
gathering funds little by little to afford one’s dream. Home loan is an amount of money that an individual
borrows from a bank or money lending company at a certain rate of interest to be paid with the EMI every
month. The property is taken as a security by the bank. Home is an integral part of human beings, who
since his childhood, dream to have living space of his own. Once in a lifetime investment requires loan to
do it and that is how the home loan comes into scheme of things. Buying the home is the dream of
everyone. Due to rising price of properties, it has almost become impossible for the average earning people
to bye a home through lump sum payment. Therefore, the concept of home loans as come into existence.
Home is a basic need for every human being. The need for home loans arises not because property prices
are heading upwards all the time but because home loans makes great sense from a loan term saving
perspective not only are home loans a handy tool for the common man to own a roof over his head but
they also help to save money in the long run.
People are increasingly opting for housing loans to acquire their dream home. Interest rate are coming
down all the time and the bank and the housing finance companies are literally falling over each other to
lure the prospective home-seekers.
Due to the problem of illiteracy some home loan applicants and loan takers could not
responds to questionnaire properly. However care was taken to elicit their opinion as for as
possible.
Rejection of home loan application at the first stage

Objectives of the study:
To know the different scheme was under taken in the home loan are provided to the people.
To know the function of bank is providing credit facility.
To examine the home loan lending by the bank.
To understand the recovery procedure of the bank.
To find out how home loan is helpful to the common people.

Data collection is the method used in collecting data for a particular use or study,
The collected data gives the researcher a clear picture about the research problem chosen by them and to
analyze it.
PRIMARY DATA:
Primary data is also know as row data., which will be freshly collected for the purpose of study.
Here, for the research primary data was collected through bank visits, interviewing with staff and
observation.
SECONDARY DATA:
Secondary data is the data which has been already collected or prepared by another person which will be
used by a second person in order to meet the project requirement.
Here, for this research, secondary data used was, books, articles, journals, websites and newspapers.
Plan of Analysis
The importance of the study of home loan in various banks. Where the survey of Bengaluru city will be
conducted. By this study they can improve the loan schemes. If they can handle risks and are willing to
go the extra mail to benefit from any further fall in interest rates, floating rate home loan will be best suited
for them.
