Extensive List of Competency-Based Interview Questions
Each competency listed includes a title, general definition, and several measurable or observable
performance statements which aid in the development of drafting a goal from a competency, to
generate thought about how the competency is displayed when performed well on the job, or
assist in describing the desired performance.
This is intended to be useful as a reference and is not an exhaustive list. The competency
descriptions are intended to be tailored to individual positions. Position-specific competencies are
best determined through a job analysis process.
