Why Does Everyone Deserve To Be Loved Back?

“Wala akong kwenta. Walang nagmamahal sa akin.”

I hear those words frequently. I can see them on social networking sites too. I think that this is the
right time to talk about that certain issue and to raise awareness. We need an answer, an
enlightenment to this unending enigma. I belive that there came a point in our lives when we feel
miserable. We feel alone and lonely. We feel like the world is against us. It seems like nothing is
working. We’re starting to lose hope and even our will to live decreases, but I suppose that love is
the answer. There is no better feeling in this world than knowing you are loved so if you ever feel
like you’re not worthy of it then I am here to remind you why you truly deserve to be loved back.

I have here five reasons why each and everyone of us deserve to be loved. They might be few but
their impact might help you. First, you deserve to exist. Of course our existence has its own purpose.
God didn’t let us live just to make us suffer. I believe that there is a reason behind this. As long as
you live there’ll be lots of possibilities. As long as you live, you can always try and as long as you
live you can certainly feel loved by God and by the people around you. Second, you deserve
happiness. Happiness is a vital part of our survival as human beings. You were built to use it as a
tool to evaluate the world that surrounds you. We can equate happiness to love because love is the
happiest thing we’ll ever experience, and if we feel loved we feel the happiness running throughout
our veins. Third, you deserve to remember how special you are. You need to know how unique and
beautiful you are. Yes, you’re a collection of miracles, bound together by sunlight. But you are also
much more than that; you are a story, you are a home. We tend to forget our essence because of
some reasons but today I am reminding each and everyone of you that you are wonderful. Fourth,
you deserve to be loved for who you are, with your flaws, with your quirks, with your
imperfections. We are born blemished. We are all aware of that fact. But being imperfect feels good
when you got someone who will accept it wholeheartedly. Those faults will no longer be a problem
when you know that there is a person who ’s willing to love them. Fifth, you deserve to have the
love you always dreamed of, the kind of love that makes you want to be a better person. Your
feelings are valid and real. Do not let anybody denounce them just because they do not feel the
same way. These feelings do not make you weak or clingy or overly emotional. They make you
strong, brave and beautiful.

Sometimes, you don ’ t always get what you want. Sometimes you feel like your love is
unreciprocated. Sometimes you feel like you are not enough, but don ’ t ever let those things
dominate. Every now and then when you start doubting your worth, a quick reminder of what you
deserve can really help and to finally end this speech I would like to remind all of you who are
listening that you are worthy of all of the love in this world.
