Note : All students desirous of taking hostel should approach, at the time of admission, alongwith Hostel Form duly filled
and signed, rules copy duly signed and fees for hostel as per clause 1(ii) a, b & c and (iii).
 HOSTEL RULES & REGULATION
(Kindly Read the Rules & Regulations carefully before signing)
(Don’t opt for Hostel if you do not agree with any of these)

1. Hostel will be allotted on first come first serve basis, subjected to the availability of Hostel seats.
2. FEES & CHARGES :-
(i) Once a student is admitted to the hostel, he is liable to pay Hostel Fee till end of April/ May of the JEE year (i.e. the year he
takes JEE as per the program enrolled at FIITJEE), _______________________________ reserves the right to initiate
proceedings against the Hosteler at his cost to recover Hostel Fee for the remaining period, in case he leaves earlier than
the month of April/ May, without paying rent of the Hostel and clearing dues on him.
(ii) Every student shall have to deposit the following fees at the time of admission to the hostel :-
a. Caution Money Rs.7,500/-
b. Hostel Fee & Mess charges for two months (The hostel charge varies from Rs. 4000 - 8000/- per month depending on
hostel facilities).
c. The above charges are subject to revision without any prior notice and the decision of the ___________________
management in this regard will be final and binding on the Hosteler, his Guardian / parent.
(iii) Two months Hostel Fee and mess charges will be kept in reserve and will be adjusted in the last two months of the
Hostelers i.e. March & April or April & May of the JEE year or later if required by the prevailing conditions at that time.
(iv) The Caution money will be accepted only by a crossed D.D. in favour of “__________________________” payable at
_________________.
3. Hostel Fee and Mess charges for every month shall be paid by 5th of the month in advance, failing which about Rs. 20/- per day
shall be charged as late fee till 10th of the month after which the name of the Hosteler shall be struck off from the records and
he will not be allowed to stay in the hostel.
4. No unbecoming activity of a student shall be allowed inside the hostel premises. The management reserves the right to evict
any Hosteler if it is found that he is involved in any illegal/ unethical/ unprincipled/ immoral/ corrupt/ dishonest activity and due
to which his stay in the Hostel Causes disciplinary or any other related problems for the management and the other occupier of
the hostel.
5. No Hosteler shall be allowed to stay out without written request of the local guardian and written permission of Chief
Administrator/Warden. Decision of the Chief Administrator/warden will be final in such cases. Any student staying out without
permission shall be fined Rs.50/- each, only for upto two occasions. Any repetition of this act after that will make him liable for
expulsion without any notice.
6. A guest can only be taken up to the room between 4 to 7 p.m. with the advance written permission of the Chief
Administrator/Incharge. No guests are allowed, other than student’s guardian / mother/ father in the Hostel in any case.
7. The management reserves the right of admission for non-Hostelers. Trespassers shall be handed over to the police.
8. Playing of radio or T.V., use of heater, heat convector, electrical-kettles, iron and immersion-rods are strictly prohibited inside the
premises of the hostel. Non compliance of this rule will result in immediate eviction from the hostel and forfeiture of the appliance.
9. The Hostelers are advised not to keep any valuable article in the hostel. For any theft or loss of valuable articles, it will be the
sole responsibility of that Hosteler and by way of no means what so ever ________________ /Hostel management can be held
responsible for such lose.
10. Any Hosteler guilty of misconduct, breach of rules or showing disrespect to authority and nuisance to others including
neighbours, shall immediately be expelled from the hostel without any notice. No justification for this can be sought from the
hostel authorities.
11. Any damage to the property of hostel/hostel management shall have to be paid in cash individually or the persons responsible
or jointly by all the Hostelers. It will not be adjusted from Caution Money.
12. The chief Administrator's decision regarding fines shall be binding and final on all Hostelers.
13. Caution money will be refunded only by 15th of July of JEE year even if a Hosteler leaves hostel earlier for any reason
whatsoever. He will be required to clear all dues. No adjustment of any balance amount payable will be permissible from the
Caution money.

14. Hostel Fee shall be chargeable for the full month if joining the Hostel on or before 15th of the month. In case of availing hostel
facilities from 16th to the last day of the month, half month Hostel Fee shall be chargeable.
15. A Hosteler will have to take permission and No Dues Certificate from the Chief Administrator/Warden when he finally leaves the
hostel. The Caution Money amount will be refunded only when No Dues Certificate has been submitted.
16. No part of the fee paid (Hostel Fee and mess charges) is refundable for any reason.
17. The Hostel authorities shall keep the hostel clean and hygienic and the Hostelers shall help in doing so.
18. The Hosteler shall get breakfast, lunch and dinner, as per the menu displayed every week. The menu shall be decided by a
committee consisting of one representative each of the Hostelers, Hostel authorities and FIITJEE.
19. In case a student desires anything outside the menu, he shall have to pay to the hostel authorities at the rate prescribed.
20. No cooler/air-conditioner, T.V. shall be provided in the hostel, nor shall any Hosteler be allowed to install one of his own. No
misuse of electricity and water is allowed and leaving the room without switching off the lights will invite penalty.
21. The hostel authorities shall arrange for clear, hygienic drinking water, 24 hours a day.
22. All hostels are managed by private parties.
23. a. Any dispute arising on account of these rules shall be subject to the jurisdiction of appropriate Court/Forum in Delhi/New
Delhi.
b. If a complaint is lodged in any Court/Forum outside Delhi/New Delhi, it shall be mandatory on the part of the complainant
to inform that Court/Forum regarding Rule 23(a). ______________________ shall be free to proceed against the
complainant, if he fails to do so, at his (complaint’s) cost at an appropriate Court/Forum in Delhi/New Delhi.
24. In the event of any dispute regarding the interpretation of clauses of hostel form or any claim including refund of fee etc. arising
out of taking the admission in _______________________________________Hostel, the matter shall be referred to the Sole
Arbitrator appointed by the Management of FIITJEE Ltd. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final & binding on both parties.
25. Clarification regarding payment of mess charges:
(i) If no mess is used for full calendar month : Rs. 500/- p.m. (approx)
(ii) If mess is used for less than 15 days in a calendar month,
: Rs. 300 (approx) + 50% (Mess Charges)
irrespective of number of days
(iii) If mess is used for more than 15 days in a calendar month : 100% (Mess Charges)

26. No hostler shall be allowed to take meal from outside during his stay in the hostel.
27. No inter exchange of rooms shall be allowed without written approval of the hostel authorities.
28. In case a student wants to go to his home town he shall have to inform the hostel authorities in writing and make entries in the
register while going and coming back accordingly.
29. Playing of games in the Corridor or on the roof is not allowed.

involved in any illegal/unethical/unprincipled/immoral/corrupt/dishonest activity while his stay in the hostel. I hereby undertake
to keep FIITJEE and Hostel Authorities indemnified in case of any loss that occurs to the name/ reputation or pecuniary loss to
FIITJEE/ Hostel Authorities or management. Further I undertake to fulfill all the terms and condition as mentioned in the Hostel
Rules & Regulation. I under take that FIITJEE Ltd or its Associates shall not be responsible for my SON act or conduct which may
cause any risk or cause any casualty of any nature what so ever. My SON is joining this hostel after I being aware of all the
facilities and formalities. I have read and understood the rules and regulation which has been provided to me.
