Reaching Port Nyanzaru

The players will reach at 17 Royal Docks. From there, Sindra will explain where she is headed and
other information. If the group escorts her, they would have to go to 4 Goldenthrone. There Wakanga
will instruct the group that they would need a charter from the Flaming Fist. If they don't get one, they
might have to deal with them in the jungles. Otherwise, she will instruct the players to go meet with
Zindar, the harbor master for available guides to start their adventure. At the Goldenthrone, there will
be no usual wait as Sindra is good friends with Wakanga. Wakanga will introduce himself and go about
as put in the campaign. However, he will suggest the players go meet with the Harbor Master, Zindar.
If they need to meet him again or Sindra, she will be at his villa right where the number 5 is. If they
players go there beyond this first encounter, the players will have an offer for

If the players go to see Wakanga at the Goldethrone, they will be greeted by the Merchant Prince
Kwayothe and offered the Smell of Death quest and We Delved too Deep.
On the way to Zindar's office, the players will come across a Halfing. This is where Trouble at the
Docks will occur.

 Encounter – will take place at 17 Dry Dock as the ship is under repairs, adjust encounter based
on APL.
 After the encounter, Seraphina will run away swearing to get her revenge. Anytime players are
near water at random encounters, they might engage again Seraphina with the help from her
captain, Shar Wolfheart, as a recurring villian.
Again on the way to Zindar's office, the players will have another person run up to them, Rokah, due to
him noticing them taking care of themselves against Seraphina. This is where you give the players the
side quest, Create a Distraction at Fort Beluarian. He also mentions that he recommends to the group to
get River Mist and Flask of Wine as guides, mention my name. They will know who I am. Come
looking for me at the Tiryki Anchorage at the dock to the ferryman at night when you have supplies and
the guides.
Once the group reaches Zindar's office at dusk, they will find it is closed. Note the group to the bulletin
board and the note left on the door. The bulletin board will have Hunt Pirates. It has players saying that
Zindar will be at Kaya's House of Repose. The group will need to ask around with a Investigation
check to find a person to talk with. They will learn that Kaya's House of Repose is near the Red Bazaar.
After a few minutes at the office, the group will have Undril Silvertusk to appear behind them. Offer
Escort a Priest to Camp Vengeance.
Here, you will run the players through A Little Too Fancy encounter. Zindar will be at the bar enjoying
some old-aged whiskey. Zindar will tell the player's about the guides (if they didn't meet Wakanga,
Zindar will tell them about the charter as well). Also, all the guides are out and about for the next four-
five days. Zindar says they could potentially make their way without one, but he suggest to relax and
enjoy what Kaya's House of Repose has to offer. In the morning, you could go about exploring Port
Nyanzaru, gather needed supplies, and by the looks of up learn a few new tricks on your way.

Add up the total, then multiply that number by 50. That will equal in the amount of gold required for
their pay the next morning. You continue the encounter as normal. Afterwards, the first person they
encountered mentions that they should at least go to the public Bathhouse. Spa Day Encounter
If they don't stay at Kaya's, the group will have only one more option.
Thundering Lizard – Here, the players will go through a few encounters for the next day.

Second day at either Kaya's or The Thundering Lizard, mention the tavern's notice board of the Help
Wanted Ad. This will be The Graveyard Shift encounter.
During this day, the player's will encounter Volo. He will reveal a few rumors, and he will mention to
the group about the Executioner's Run of the gambling that happens daily. He gives a unique rumor
about speciality items sold by the Black Market. It will be cheaper than buying those items from the
merchant's. You will have to spend half a day asking the right questions with a successful Deception
check 15 in the Old City. Also, the day after next will hold weekly Dinosaur Racing event.
If players go to the Old city, they will encounter Otyugh's Wish encounter at the Holdup, Old City
tavern, and Black Market, if they made the check. The adventurer to show them below the tavern is
their way into the Black Market, his name is Kabonto Tarama. He mentions about the Excutioner's Run
tomorrow.
During the Third Day, the players will go through Undeserved Punishment.
During the Fourth Day, the players will go through Right Place, Wrong Time. The players will also, if
the chase the beasts, go through a City Chase (Racer Unleashed, if they go to the races; Berserk
Behemoth in the Market; Pickpocket in a slum area; Weretiger Hunt anywhere else)
If the player's do not offer aid to the innocent main side quest, role play out how the party or character
(based on backgrounds) are apprehended for the encounter Crime & Punishment during the end of the
Third Day.
During the night, the players (wherever they stay) will hear the rumor about the Plague Boat encounter
and can go at midnight this night or tomorrow. This will lead to the temple of tomoachan (yawning
portal).
During the Fifth Day, the player or group will be put into The Pit in the morning. After the pit, the
player's will be greeted by K'lahu for the Collect a Debt side quest. At night, the players going to meet
Rokah will need to make a Perception of 18 or higher. If they make it, they will hear a sudden shriek.
This will have the players racing with the Snuffed Out encounter. The count will start when the players
are 100 ft from the Lighthouse.
