1) Locate the pre-determined location(s) in the store to install the Price Checker. Install the
Electrical Outlet Security cover (The security cover is only needed where the Price Checker
Fixture is being used. (The security cover is NOT required for the shroud mount
installations)for all installation options (at wall, column or booth set)..

2)3) Plug in and power on the Price Checker unit. Connect to the store Wi-Fi. (The unit
6) Ensure there is ample room for the electrical cord to be plugged in and routed into the fixture.
The cord can be routed through the hole in the back of the frame or you can knock out the
perforated holes in the back of the fixture.
8) Use a x 1.5 Phillips head bolt to secure the Fixture to the I-Beam/Concrete Pillar.
9) Slide the front silver piece down to the bottom of the fixture frame and it should lock in
place. Place the Price Check piece back on the fixture frame.
10) Insert the electrical cord through the provided slot. Ensure that the female portion of the
electrical cord is on the front side of the Fixture. The cord can be routed through the hole in
the back of the frame or you can knock out the perforated holes in the back of the fixture.
12) Prior to mounting the price checker plate to the Fixture, insert the price checker power supply
into the price checker mounting plate with the electrical outlet facing UP and plug in the
power supply.
Ensure that the Price Checker mounting plate is installed right side up, as the battery basket is
at the BOTTOM (facing towards the fixture mount).
14) Unscrew/Remove the security screw from the mount in order to install the Price Checker.
16) Using a p-touch label maker, create a label with the price checker device Serial Number and
affix the label on the side of the device (Label will be used for troubleshooting purposes)
20) Test the Price Checker by scanning an item and confirm that the item description/price is
displayed. Take a picture of the below and email to the Spencer PM for validation.
