1. Nowadays companies begin to face new challenges to integrate sustainability into their core
businesses.
2. State-of-the-art information technologies may provide transparent information to customers
concerning the sustainability issues.
3. New training programs are being created for associates and suppliers to involve them into
overall sustainability along the whole supply chain.
4. Investments in sustainability of the supply chain will benefit all the relevant parties in long
run.
5. In cooperation with other companies, NGOs and states Wal-Mart shall create strict
environmental and social regulations in the countries of its suppliers.
6. Overall program of collective actions as a solution to eliminate sweatshops.
