New skill : Expert

You need to choose a specialisation with this
one. Some examples :
Ancient languages
Cryptography
Cryptozoology
Forensics
Spaceship design
Virology
Xenobiology...
Where are the artistic skills ?
Most arts are now considered as quirks ,
the UCW Wardens do not ususally recruit
artists. If you wish your character to be a
professionnal artist, take the Expert skill and
pick the specialization you need : movie
director, stage magician, ghost writer, FX
expert...

Character creation
Character creation follow 6 simple steps :
1. Choose ethnicity
You have the classics : american, russian, chinese, mongolian, kenyan... This gives you the
character's native language and your first quirk.
2. Choose world of origin
This step gives your character a quirk and the choice between two contacts. Contacts are
people you can go to for information and even a little help (at the GM's discretion).
3. Record Warden basic training
Becoming a Warden means the character was taught some basics skills. The Warden also
learns an additional language at this point.
4. Choose a Warden Specialty
As in the core rules, choose between Enforcer, Investigator and Researcher. This will give
you the characters starting attributes, score and skills. Choose a new quirk as well.
5. Choose two secondary specialties
As in the core rules, choose two secondary specialties, they will give you points in some skills
as well.
6. Rounding up the character
Now you have 10 points to spend among all skills. Bringing a skill from 3 to 4 (or from 4 to 5)
costs two points. A new language costs 1 point. You got 5 points to spend on Advantages
and you must take 3 points worth of disadvantages.

Birthplace
Your birthplace gives you the choice between two contacts and a quirk.
Contacts
You don't have to define your contact right away, these details may come up during play. The
contact is not all-knowing or all powerful and he may need the character's assistance from
time to time.
Finding new contacts (optional)
This rule comes from the Dread First Book of Pandemonium rpg : if a player wants a new
contact it replaces an old one. The player has to explain how that old contact died.
