Genesis Process Counselor

Pneuma Counseling is looking for a qualified Pastor/Genesis Process counselor to meet with male
clients in our office near NE Glisan and 44th. Pneuma has partnered with Impact Northwest to provide
individual counseling and spiritual/pastoral care to individuals in our community struggling with
addiction. Clients are referred through a program called Access to Recovery at Impact Northwest. This
program oversees grant money awarded to Oregon specifically for faith-based recovery resources.
The successful candidate will have a passion to serve the marginalized of PDX through a
Pastoral/Biblical approach and the ability to walk with male clients through the Genesis Process. This
candidate will meet individually with male clients weekly for 1 to 1.5 hour sessions to offer spiritual
guidance and Genesis Counseling in their recovery. Compensation is $30 per hour. Hours will vary
depending on referrals, so initially hours may be light and clientele will need to be established.
This position will be offered as a peer-counselor partnership role, so the individual must be able to
function as an independent agent and have the ability to seek out his own personal supervision,
accountability and continued education needs.
Please email [email protected] or call Sarah Probst at 503-619-6994 to discuss. Position
will begin between mid-December to early January 2016 and hours will ramp up depending on referrals.
