    Legato software is used to backup production volumes from a tape library or virtual tape library (VTL) using point-in-time copy (PIT) or BCV methods. Disk drives from a disk library are allocated to Backup servers and a storage node for storing backups. A BCV volume located on a DMX array replicates data from a production volume and is mounted on the storage node for backups to be written to using Networker backup software.

    From below Eight line mentioned one serial number of tape drive /dev/rmt/c30t0d1BESTnb the serial number is
    43HEP00201.

    Below screen shot shows the EMC disk library console window and right side we able see the serial no(43HEP00201) of
    one virtual tape drive HP-Ultrium 3-SCSI-00054. And we can also see the virtual tape volume 8KH01H0A.

    rd=sf05ap34:/dev/rmt/c30t0d1BESTnb,rd=sf05ap34:/dev/emt/c30t0d2BESTnb and media pools EDLpool and Default
    and respective tape volumes .
