INSTALLATION:

- If the CD does not autorun, launch "setup.exe".

- You will be prompted for your interface type.

- Select any additional hardware documentation you may want.

- Drivers will be installed for plug-n-play modems elected.

- If a plug n play interface is connected before the software installation,
setup will update the drivers (if older).

- If an error is displayed when installing VIATORCheckBT(TM) that has a
window called Just-In-Time Debugging with the error message "An exception
'System.IO.FileLoadException' has occurred in DefaultDomain" the .NET
framework is not installed. Please install the .NET framework 2.0 from the
Microsoft Update service or Microsoft's website. If you do not have internet
service there is an installation file on the MACTek VIATORCheckBT CD under
Extras.
Updates for the .NET framework are not included on the CD.

- If using the USB VIATOR Modem and this is a new install please plug the USB
Modem in before installing the software. If there are any problems in
getting the device to be recognized after installing VIATORCheckBT(R) and it
asks for a driver disk then indicate the driver is located in the
installation directory (default is C:Files\VIATOR files from MACTek) under
MACTek USB Driver or on the CD under \USB Driver.

- The MACTek PCMCIA VIATOR Modem driver is not supported in this
installation.

- There are several additional packages that are provided with VIATORCheckBT
on the CD. The following packages may be found under the folder Extras:
Adobe Reader v8.11 - used to view the manual and other documents.
Microsoft .NET 2.0 - needed for VIATORCheckBT.

A HARTCommDTM package can be found at the top level of the CD:
HARTCommDTM folder - HARTCommDTM v1.2 from CodeWrights - used with FDT
frame applications such as PACTware that require a communications DTM.

Install these packages by going to the Extras folder on the CD and double
clicking the executable file associated with that package name. The
HARTCommDTM can be installed by running setup.exe in the HARTCommDTM folder
at the top level of the CD. Follow the instructions found on the
installation software screens to complete the installation. For additional
