I am seeking an opportunity to work with Mr. Robiul Islam in Sales department. My professional experience and my awareness of your unparalleled reputation have led me to want to work for your company. I have a bachelor degree with a major in Marketing field. I am Graduated from the East West University in 2008. Over the past three years, I have worked with Unilever as Sales manager who responsible for the market of Hunan mainly. During this period, I have learnt much I learned the values of teamwork and commitment, how to win, how to work hard, how to concentrate and focus on goals, and how to balance my time and priorities. Additional experience in other fields such as graduation practice in factory and commercial negotiation also reinforces my value to your company Wrong Answer : I was born in Comilla. I have one brother and sister. My father is UP chairman at comilla. I came to Dhaka when I was in class seven and completed my graduation here. I like to play computer games and I like travelling. 2. Good communication skills, Dedication , willingness to walk the extra mile to achieve excellence. Definiteness of purpose, clear goals, enthusiasm, high level of motivation, Confident, Healthy, A leader. I sometimes push my people too hard. I like to w ork with a sense of urgency and everyone is not always on the same wavelength. I think this is my weakness. 3. Why u choose Nestle ? Why should we hire you for the marketing executive post ? As I understand your needs, you are first and foremost looking for someone who can manage the sales and marketing of Dhaka division. As youve said you need someone with a strong background in sales. This is where Ive spent almost all of my career, so Ive almost 8 years of experience exactly in this area. I believe that I know the right contacts, methods, principles, and successful management techniques as well as any person can in our industry. 5. Why did you leave your past job ? Wrong answer : "I didn't agree with the company's direction, I got no recognition for my work, My boss was totally unreasonable. I didnt like the job at all" 6. Are you willing to relocate ? Well it depends on time period. As I live with my family in Dhaka I prefer this as my workplace most but if it is for short period of time like one or two year then I may go abroad or outside the city. 7. Tell me about your extra-curricular activities and interests. I was a Debater of East West University Debating Club. Worked as a volunteer East West University Club and Performing Arts Club. I was Member of East West University Business Club. General Member of Poverty Fighter Foundation. Playing Intra Department Football Championship of East West University-2012 Cycling
8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? In 5 years time, I see myself progressing in (the field) and in (the company), learning new skills to the benefit of (the company). I find this (job position) extremely interesting and motivating. I can see many challenges lying ahead of me, which I am eager to experience. And therefore, I am willing to invest my 5 years time learning all aspects of the job towards professional advancement. 9. How do you work under pressure? I actually work better under pressure and I've found that I enjoy working in a challenging environment. I realized that when I'm under the pressure of a deadline, I can do some of my most creative works. 10. What salary are you expecting? Well, "Is the salary negotiable? => yes it is. "What kind of benefits I can expect?" => You can expect yearly 2 bonus on your basic salary. Thats what I wanted to know, my expectation is to get the salary as per the companys law. 11. Why are you interested in working for our company? This vacancy will allow me to practically use and enjoy the knowledge and skills I have obtained through education, learning to improve new and existing skills. 12. Do you have any questions for me? Wrong answer : Yes, "Could you tell me your name again?" then ull get an answer. Then ask that person a question again : How much vacation time can I expect?" then say thank u. 13. What type of work environment do you like best? I would like to work in an organization where discipline and high tech environment will ensure fast career development and the congenial atmosphere will help to develop my managerial qualities. 14. Why do you want this job? I want this job to utilize the skills which I've gotten from my studies and experience. I will utilize this knowledge for the success of this company and for my personal success. Wrong Answer : I really don't want the job but my parents are pressuring me to get any job so that I will not be a leech on them and to move out on my own. In this case, we wanted to hear about your job skills, not your personal life. It would be better if told us about your career growth, what you've learned or how you've developed specific skills. Why did you leave your past job ? Ans : "I didn't agree with the company's direction, I got no recognition for my work, My boss was totally unreasonable. I didnt like the job at all" Maybe your last job was terrible, but an interview is not the place to talk about it. Even if it's true, never make negative or opinionated comments about your current or past employers or co-workers. Do you have any questions for me? Ans : Yes, "Could you tell me your name again?" then ull get an answer. Then ask that person a question again : How much vacation time can I expect?" Ask specific questions that show you already know a lot about the company, but want to know more. Do not ask questions that you should already know the answers to, like, "What does your company do?" Also, don't ask salary or vacation-related questions like "When do you give raises?" "How much vacation time can I expect?" Save those questions for after you hear, "We'd like to offer you the job."
