The Data Warehouse has three different data sources DMS (Distributors Management System), ERS (Employee Repository system) . This DW provides data of various distributors and resellers in US and worldwide, and employees information for decision making reports.

    Responsibilities: Responsible for replacing the existing legacy ETL processing with informatica ETL tools, worked closely with Business Analysts and Powered users to implement new enhancement to Storage tech "One Warehouse project". * Designed and deployed the ETL process using Informatica for ODS and DSS instance by studying the business requirement from the business users. * Developed complex maps in normalizing the 3-D data in the Excel Spread Sheet into 2-D flat file. It delivers various credit card products to serve merchants and individuals. The card business was spread globally and has various branches in most of the countries. The main datawarehouse unit is present in Phoenix which includes source to end development processes like data profiling, data cleansing and data loading. The data warehouse has 5 different sources CAS (card authorization system), ROC (record of charges), GRMS (Global risk management system), GNA (Global Network acquisitions) . These data are present in form of reports to the users for making their decisions based on DSS. Responsibilities: Working in an end to end environment such as pulling data from the mainframe, performing extraction, transformation and loading and finally storing into the table. * Performed data profiling for the new incoming data to the data repository. * Configured abinitio software for VLDB data warehouse instance, and involved in setting up Sandbox, MFS and Project frame work for development, testing and Production environment. * Implemented B2B Project (business to business) to improve US market productivity by calculating and including exposure of international markets like Australia and New Zealand. * Migrating the legacy airline charges mainframe feed to an abinitio ETL process which is cost effective, cost savings of $50K/year plus elimination of maintenance effort. * Worked in a Collection Strategy management information system project in which storing the everyday cancelled accounts for the exposure calculation.
