    Power ISO is a product that allows users to create a disc drive virtually. ISO files also known as ISO Image is a copy of an entire CD, DVD or other disc type. The entire contents of the disc are represented in a single ISO file. A virtual drive is a CD drive or DVD drive that does not exist physically but exists on the computer. You can mount ISO images to these virtual drives. The mounting of an ISO image is similar to inserting a disc into a disc drive. Mounting an ISO image to a virtual drive will virtually create a disc with all the contents of its original and which can also be played.

    Step 1 Step 2 Download the PowerISO5.exe file and then run it to install Power ISO. http://www.poweriso.net/PowerISO5.exe Open the PowerISO Virtual Drive Manager. It can be found by searching for PowerISO in the search bar or looking for the PowerISO folder in all programs.

    Step 3 Step 4 -

    Once opened an icon of a gold disc will appear in the system tray. Click on it and then select Set Number of Drives and then click one (1). Open My Computer. You will now see something similar to the image below.

    Step 5 Step 6 Step 7 -

    Right click on the CD Drive then click on PowerISO. Select Mount Image to Drive and select the ARMA II ISO image. Double click on the disc and then double click the Autorun.exe to setup ARMA II and start the installation. Repeat Step 5 selecting Mount Image to Drive again but this time chose the ARMA II Operation Arrowhead ISO image. The repeat step six for ARMA II Operation Arrowhead.

    Step 8 -

    Run ARMA II and then start a campaign mission once the game has loaded and you can play it exit out then do the same for ARMA II Operation Arrowhead. This is so the game can load its pre-sets and generate certain files. Download Play with Six and then run the Play withSIX setup.exe. Do not use any other ways to install DayZ this is because Play with Six is the official DayZ modification installer. http://play.withsix.com/download Launch Play with Six the icon should be on the desktop. Play with Six when it loads should recognise you have ARMA II installed and you may then continue to the modifications section. Find the DayZ modification for the game and press the install button if play with six says it needs certain items then allow it to do so and it will install its requirements then continue to install DayZ. DO NOT! Do not install any extra DayZ modifications or Maps. They are not required and may prevent you from joining games with others. Also do not install any other modifications to the game not related to the single DayZ modification. When installation has finished you may continue to play DayZ by launching it through the server list within Play with Six or press the play button.
