The Higher Education Commission has finalized the list of eligible students for laptop distribution under the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme. The laptop distribution will occur in two stages. The first stage will involve a ceremonial distribution of laptops to a limited number of randomly selected eligible students at Dawood University of Engineering and Technology on August 15th, 2015. The second stage will progressively distribute laptops to the remaining eligible students. Students selected for stage one have been emailed by HEC to attend the ceremony and receive their laptops.

COMMENCEMENT OF LAPTOP DISTRIBUTION The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has now finalized the list of the students eligible to received laptop as per their specified criteria. The list has now been uploaded on (HEC) website for display. The HEC has decided to distribute these laptops to eligible candidates in two stages. STAGE 1 A ceremonial commencement of the distribution of the laptops to a randomly selected yet limited numbers of eligible students in a specially organized ceremony. STAGE 2 Progressive distribution of laptops to balance eligible students. The commencement ceremony of laptops distribution has been organized at Dawood University of Engineering & Technology, in the Seminar Hall on August 15th, 2015 at 11:30 A.M sharp. The randomly selected students of this stage (1) distributions have been sent emails by HEC to attend and receive their laptops. Engr. Abdul Hakeem Baloch, The Honorable Minister of State for Communication has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest. Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh, Adviser to Prime Minister shall be the Guest of Honor. Those students who have received emails from HEC are requested to bring the documents mentioned in their email and attend this ceremony. Please note that those eligible students as per HEC uploaded list who have not received any email shall wait for the Stage (2) progressive distribution for which emails by the HEC shall be dispatched later.
